You put his powerful shoot videos. And we all know that Penaldo's strength is powerful shoots from distances, like messi's strength is dribbling. but these abilities is not in same level. because you score 1 long range goal in a season but you do dribbling and passing 10 times in a game. Its the reason ronaldo still dreams about ballon dor

This time CR made people "WOW" with long shoot, and his next "WOW" will happen after 2-3 months. In other hand Messi can do "WOW" things every week with his dribbling and passing. and at the end who makes people "WOW" more considered best player and wins ballon dor

He has been quite brilliant this year. Didn't he score a screamer against Sevilla recently? He is a stronger candidate to win world player of the year this year. If he has the trophies to back it up, then he can win.

I cant believe Madrid fans were bashing this guy, three/four weeks ago. They are so spoiled, its unbelievable.

Yet 2 WOW is not enough to be compared to Messi's countless WOW's. If CR could do magics every week, at least once in a month then we could see people considering him the best player. but this great goal will be forgotten after 2 weeks if he doesnt continue to do it again and again until end of the season. and you know its hard to score screamers all the season, and CR doesnt have another ability to WOW people scratch

Let me try to explain something to you, because to me it is quite clear you dont have a proper understanding of football. The "countless" Messi magics you talk about is a result of the "countless" times he tries to dribble (even when he has better options) then fails. He tries to acheive that one/two magic moment by trying atleast 10/12 times a game. He is the most disposed player in the league for the reason. You completely ignore this. This is like Ronaldo taking 8/10 shots in a game and bragging about the one that goes in.

The truth is that last year Messi was more of a team player, and Ronaldo played like a individual. This year Ronaldo has become a team player, while Messi has become way too unselfish for his own good.

Also everyplayer has different strengths. You brag about Messi's magic moments which often include the same dribbling techniques etc (nothing wrong with that). The problem lies in your understanding.

A screamer is a magic moment, just like one of those Messi dribbles that leads to a goal. Ronaldo excels mostly at the former, while Messi only does the latter. You praise the latter, and claim the former was a fluke. :facepalm:

So he tries shoots 10 times and 1 of them becomes a magic every match? no of course, last time cr magic happened was when he scored that screamer 2 months ago. if you talk about goals messi scored 37 and cr 34. but i was not talking about goals.

i was talking about WOW factor. and the best wow factor for CR are screamers and it happens once in a 2-3 months. for messi there are too many wow factors. thats what i was talking about. if you yet didnt understand ask yourself this question when cr last time got so much praise? as far as i remember it happened only 2 times this season
