Yeah Messi's finishing has been off, Tello has been a revelation in my eyes, he is outshining Cuenca, who has been playing well this game too, hopefully Tello can keep it up like Cuenca has been doing.

When Villa and Afellay return we will be stacked on wingers! I think one of them is going to be sold unfortunately. It's going to be interesting how Afellay Tello and Cuenca compete for a spot hmm

we grinded it out when we really shoudn't have...this match should have been done by halftime. but MESSI, wow....i mean he had 5 chances and scored 1. I really hope he gets back to form soon. He played okay but i found that he's not getting much dribbles off successfully...

as i said, even in bad form he scores the easy chances like what he had today.

Is there something going on that is distracting him/demotivating him?

Damn it, that is the only thing i was hopping not to happen. Actually even loosing wouldn't been as bad if his injury is bad. This seriously worsens our chances for CDR and CL Sad

Not trying to troll at all. I just think many people who rate Busquets as the best midfielder in Barcelona and such will realize that losing him isn't nearly as bad as losing any other starter.

Beside that he missed tons of chances, Messi got himself and assist and a goal.

However, i found him too individualistic during this game... actually, i would have to say more than usually!

I don't really think he is the best midfielder at barca but his comfort on the ball under pressure and his great distribution skills are one of the main reasons we played so well last season and for most of this season. Though I have to say, JDS did really well today in his position. In fact all the youngsters played well

Hmmm, not sure what to say about this. On one hand, benching messi might allow him to realize that he is still like any other player. On the other, he we suffer without him and what he adds to the team regardless of his form

For once, he will realize that he is another team player, he will get rest. Even more so, the rest of the attackers will up their game, cuz there is no Messi to save our asses.
