you have to admit guys this time its wenger fault, if he had brought an extra mid in we wouldnt have been so reliant on wilshere. he was burnt out and this is the result of that. shame really, we overused wilshere really bad for such a youngster.

We have seen this mistake every January for the past 4 years. Arshavin playing as CF, All our Goalkeepers playing horrible Igor Afinkeev came out said it would be his dream to play for Arsenal, Vermaelen out all last season. We have seen it all before we won't buy anyone and this year won't make CL because other teams have invested in quality while we have not.

Re: Ghost of the las season's end coming...
Funny thing is that Wilshere didn't get injured when he played for us, it was with the NT.
With that said, Wenger shouldn't have played him that much...but then again, we had Ramsey who was coming back, Diaby in the squad, Fabregas who had a bad year in terms of injuries....We actually had a lot of midfielders, but they were all unavailable for one reason or the other. Wilshere wasn't the only one overworked, because Song was suffering a bit too when the schedule got a bit tight.
I'm not saying he's blameless, but considering the circumstances, I don't think it's really his fault either. Buying another mid, whilst having a whole host of options at the club, wasn't ever going to be the wisest of ideas.
Now, Wilshere's injury didn't come from last season. He had his full vacation and played for us during pre-season without a problem. He got injured with the NT.
I don't think Wenger will dip into the transfer market because of the set-back, because the reason he went for Arteta in the first place was because of Wilshere's injury
I agree that Wenger should have used him less, but had he done so, he would have been ripped to pieces for not using him enough.
If making sense means being a Wenger apologist, then you're pretty much insulting yourself there. Well done

wengers fault, lack of depth and there is obv something wrong over there because the amount of injuries we suffer from is getting beyond a joke.
seriously name another team that has had constant injuries like arsenal have over the years

I don't think we lack depth look at our squad we have at least three players who can play every position. We lack quality how many of our players would you honestly say could play week in week out at other top clubs? We have lots of players but apart from 5 players we lack consistent quality.
