Anybody who has been watching football from the late 90's to the mid 00's would know what I am talking about. Football in recent years has grown tasteless. EPL dominating the scene with their garbage hoofing the ball football (Chelsea and Manure), and then came Farca with their sleep inducing style. I think its about time someone bring sexy back.

Personally, I like Ozil.

Great ball control, great footballing brain, great vision. And in short, he juz makes things happen. Though, for me to consider him as one of the best in his generation he needs to score more goals and be more consistant.

Never will be a legend, tho. A few after he retires, he'll be forgotten by many.

People care too much about who scores the goals.

Ozil is amazing, goal stats don't change that assists stats don't change that, it's about how he plays the game.

Unfortunately you may be right since stat's seem to be the all encompassing factor that rules professional sport today, perhaps true greatness will be overlooked in favor of numbers on a page.
