granero is a 433 player, we almost never play that formation.

Start? Probably not. But he's good enough to get decent playing time imo.

He's a good player, but imo he always takes one more touch on the ball than what he's supposed to take. And I don't like it when he tries to dribble too much either, all in all, I don't him on hte bench.

Re: Is Granero good enough to start for us?
He's a quality player, but not really a starting guy, at least for now.
He's been overlooked for some time now, and sometimes he looks like he's not motivated at all. That troubles me, since I like his qualities as a player.
I agree with SuperMAG. He'd fit 4-3-3 more, he's too slow for our wing-forward position.

Re: Is Granero good enough to start for us?
no he is not. but at the beginning of the year i was optimistic that he would get more playing time and show that he has the potential to work his way into the starting XI
but when he has played (though less this year than i would have expected) he has not proven to me at least that he is not ready to even be considered for a starting spot.
maybe a positive loan spell will help his chances because i really am a fan but he has not been on his game when he has played this year

Hes a great player, see his first season with us, when pellegrini coached. He was a great player but he just doesnt fit into our system is my only reasonable explanation
He's like VdV, amazing player but he just didnt perform in our system

Re: Is Granero good enough to start for us?
Great player my ass.
He is soo overrated by madrid fans, all he does is get in the field, most of the time invisible, post no defensive or offensive threat, Most of the time when he gets the balls, he just hold it forever wasting most of the time, sometimes he has good cross and rarely makes a through ball, some times a good shot.
He has very little end product yet most of you guys call him "great" player for doing nothing remarkible, just because he is our own castilla player, doesnt make him a great player, mata, soldado even negredo/callejon to an extent are great players, him no so much, he is an average players, there is a reason he doesnt play much with mou.
All he has a little potential, but he is 25 for GOD sake.

Re: Is Granero good enough to start for us?
If we played as a team then he would probably shine, however we rely on individuals and Granero doesn't suit individual football.
Also he would suit a 4-3-3 as the less attacking CM.
