How is this Benedikt HÖWEDES?

I have been hearing alot about him since this season.
He is compared to Pepe, they say he is as fast, agile and as responsive as Pepe. His style of defending is also like pepe.
He is just 20, means we can have him as second cb for the future. Removing both Albiol and Caravalho.

Hes usually solid defender, but his no pepe. He lacks aggressiveness imo.
And Höwedes is 23 btw.

yea, i was thinking about the future varane partner, we groom him into the team like we are doing with varane.
but you guys are correct, as long as there is varane, caravlho and albiol in the bench, we have enough depth.

Ramos is turning only 26 this year... So, I don't even think Howedes will be Varane's partner. Unless you want to further adhere to the idea of putting Ramos in midfield.

Varane is 18, so by the time he reaches 25 (where he will reach his top potential), Ramos will be 34, he will be good, but still.

I really like Howedes. He can play fullback too. I guess he wouldnt be too bad if we dont manage to get Carvajal at the RB spot.

if you wanted to what responsive means, responsive means that the defender figures out the attacker move quickly, like if the attacker will pass in certain direction, the defender will find out quickly to stop him.

He's great. But I dunno why you guys would need him for. Is heavily linked with Bayern, anyways.
