Ronaldo is an inside forward. 4-3-3 would maybe suit him better as the wide players in a 4-3-3 are usually goalscorers.

And messi's shot accuracy is a lot better than Ronaldo. His shot to goal ratio is a lot better.

My theory is that you have the same chance of being skilled regardless of your height, but if you are tall and clumsy you have a much greater chance of becoming a pro player than if you are short and clumsy. If you are short you MUST be good otherwise you don't play. Whereas physical players are allowed to be stiff and bad passers and still are selected because they are big and can "bully" the opposition.

And that's why you see more tall bad players than short bad players.
