Ozil and Benzema dont have to be better than Rooney or Tevez to set him up, the way they and combine with each other make it so that they can get the best out of Ronaldo in a general sense. And no offense, but None of your former utd players had the eye for the assist Ozil had in his form last year. Does that make Ozil better in general? not necessarily. Same with Di Maria, say what you want about him, but the kid can play a final pass, the kid can assist. Again, doesnt mean that he is a better player than Giggs, but he is definitely up there when it comes to assisting people.

It's all about context, chemistry and skills of each players.

And for your information, only Alonso is sitting.

Yeah, I get your point but he didnt really struggle because he came to La Liga. I wouldnt of included him in your post basically because at his age and his role, he did well overall. Even if he didnt fit in perfectly.

Larsson was 32 I believe.

And yeah, he did great. Dont know how to compare him to Henry, different roles but his play in the CL final 06 was a turning point of the game.

But I think Henry did better tbh, Larsson only played like 50 games overall. Maybe less.
