Re: Nathaniel Chalobah
Nate scores his first ever professional club goal today as Watford beat Wolves 2-1
The Hornets now up to 9th in the table, 1 point off the play-off places. All down to the Chelsea effect of Zola and Chalobah, no doubt

Re: Nathaniel Chalobah
As promised, my official findings
And a few from their match against Nottingham Forest last weekend:
So as we can see again, they really do rate him there. All of them really hoping the club will extend his loan til the end of the season, and in all honesty, Chelsea would be foolish not to given the playing time he's getting and the experience of being at an ambitious club where the pressure and need to win games is present. Can only help his development in the long-run if he's to make it at Chelsea.
It'll be interesting to see if CFC have allowed him to play in the FA Cup. Watford's 3rd Round fixture is away to Manchester City as we know, which will be an uphill battle to say the least. Really hoping he is though. Can give Yaya a few pointers on how it's done
We really need to extend Chalobah's loan until the end of the season. Not sure Eustace can put in the performances he can
Terrific performance from all of the players but I thought Chalobah, Deeney & Vydra were very good.
How good can Chalobah be?
Long may it continue.
I hope that we put in a cheeky bid for Chalobah or atleast extend his loan untill the end of the season because he is a very talented played and was brilliant in the midfield today.
Chalobah has to stay for 6 more months, if not 18 so he can get another season under his belt. Makes sense for all the parties involved, especially Chelsea.
Chalobah is going to be some player. His touch is incredible and so effortless, making the game look so easy, always making space for himself and picks out some wonderful passes. He can be a little bit casual on the ball at times and will need to improve on that side as he gets older, but honestly, what a fantastic prospect he is. It's imperative that we extend his loan for the rest of this season and even next year if we can. I don't think we have anybody in our ranks who could adequately replace him - not sure Udinese do either!
And a few from their match against Nottingham Forest last weekend:
Chalobah was something else today, unbelievably good, crazy to think he's only just turned 18.
Chalobah has got his confidence back and was untouchable at times today.
Chalobah is going to be a fantastic player based on how good he is now also.
What's the chances of Chabolah staying here for the season? No point him going back to Chelsea to play in the u-21's!
Chalobah reminded us just why he is rated so highly, 18 years old and turning Reid, Cohen and Moussi for fun, picking out 70 yard balls that actually reach players with ease. That boy is so goddam talented, we NEED him for the remainder of this season.
So as we can see again, they really do rate him there. Re: Nathaniel Chalobah
I'll be furious if he isn't first choice or at the very least in squad rotation next season. What a monster this lad is.
And he can only get better from here.

Re: Nathaniel Chalobah
I'll cry if we loan half the squad next season again.
Take note from Dortmund and start trusting in young players and they might just surprise.
Chalobah, McEachran, Lukaku and one or two others should all be in rotation next year.

Re: Nathaniel Chalobah
Ex Chelsea boy Mellis has put Barnsley 1-0 up against Hull. If they lose this game and draw/lose their last game then our boy Chalobah could be in the PL next season with Watford

Re: Nathaniel Chalobah
Yes, was delighted to see an ex-Blue gave them the early lead. Hopefully they hold out for a result and with Hull playing Cardiff on the last day, Watford still have every chance of automatic promotionlszanto wrote:Ex Chelsea boy Mellis has put Barnsley 1-0 up against Hull. Yeah I just hope Cardiff give it a run even though they've got it in the bag, would be awesome to have Zola back in the PL.

Re: Nathaniel Chalobah
Just to recap, if Watford beat Dirty Leeds at home this afternoon and Hull fail to beat champions Cardiff, the Hornets will claim the second automatic promotion place
And if Hull end up losing that match, all Watford would need is a draw to clinch it
Come on you Hornets and Bluebirds!!

Re: Nathaniel Chalobah
So now Watford, already using their second-choice keeper with Almunia ruled out before the match, will have to call on a teenage reserve keeper after a Dirty Leeds player shoves a Watford player into him and knocks him out. Being stretchered off as we speak
