Ganso CWC
Heard he s been good, despite the loss, much better than Neymar.

Re: Ganso CWC
I saw the game and he was by far the best player on the team in my opinion, with the little amount of possession his team had he was able to set up at least 3 clear cut chances to score. Showed good composure and vision, and also tracked back to defend at times. Looks to have gotten over his dip in form.

Maybe if the Tevez deal falls through then we will make a serious run at him, at least I would hope so

I want him so badly at Milan. After yesterdays game, I believe that he would be perfect for our team.

Re: Ganso CWC
Thought he was very lazy.
He didnt drop deep enough to support the midfield defensively, but worse still when Santos got the ball he often was so close to Busquets he couldnt get the ball.
Barely saw him do any defending.
Neymar ran twice as much.
His skill is unquestionable, but wasnt impressed with the attitude today.

Re: Ganso CWC
Ganso always has been lazy as his problems even in Brazil were that he was to lazy to track back.
I agree with Regis though as he was by far the best player for Santos and I made note of this during the commentary.
Listening Galliani?

The game wasn't lost because Santos didn't have an Ibra up front...

Re: Ganso CWC
I wouldn't trade Nocerino in the LCM role I right now for anyone, he is perfect in that role and knows exactly what should be done. I don't think we need Ganso in all honesty, unless we put him as the RCM and Aquilani in the Defensive mid role, but I just see that throwing off the chemistry.

Seedorf has been playing in our midfield recently. We can just have nocerino, boa, and aqui, the 3 man midfield, then use ganso as AM

Re: Ganso CWC
Nice vid
He's often like that, top notch vision and passing, but nonexistent off the ball movement or defensive contribution.
For someone of his built, his shielding of the ball is rather unimpressive as well.

Re: Ganso CWC
I don't say this in disrespect to the trio but we're slowly finding our replacements
Pirlo - Aquilani
Gattuso - Nocerino
Seedorf - Ganso? maybe Hamsik?

I actually don't have a whole lit of confidence in Ganso in terms of him being able to put on some muscle. His knee problems could be a huge stumbling block for him if he wants to increase his strength...
But that's just me, I'm sure the guys at Santos or Milan, if he arrives, will have a better idea

Re: Ganso CWC
He is quite tall, which gives me confidence that some work in the weights room might turn him into a more solid shape. Perhaps some advice from his compatriot, Thiago 'monster' Silva will help.
Although Santos did not have much possession, you could tell that Ganso was a class player. Some of the passes were excellent. The only poor touch was that FK early on in the game.
