No one is leaving. AVB said we're not in the transfer market until he meets the players, I believe him.

Really? what a douche
Speculation:
It is not just the English press that is busy on a Sunday, of course, and Spanish paper Marca today claims that new Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas wants to sign Real Madrid defender Pepe. The Blues are reportedly willing to pay big money for Pepe with Roman Abramovich offering five million euros-a-season on a five-year contract to lure the Portuguese defender to Stamford Bridge.

Re: Rumour Mill
The Pepe rumors don't even need to be discussed, because it is utter shit.
As for Coentrao, we don't need him even if Cole leaves which i doubt he would leave anyway. In every opportunity Zhirkov has played very well at LB, so i think he can fill the void if Cole does leave.

getting better malouda, your joking your the only winger who doesnt go past people on a regular basis, and you went walkabout in our mid season collapse,id get rid of you tomorrow.
the timmy says July 4, 2011 7:58am
Have no problem with him staying aslong as he is benched. It's time to play some of the youth players or buy someone younger. Malouda was fantastic when we won the double with Carlo. Was a key player to us. Hope AVB will help him like he's helping Torres.
lol Malouda used to be epic when Hiddink and first season of Carlo but then he watched Xavi too much and Barca

Re: Rumour Mill
LOL at Malouda he is so deluded, i remember in a interview he said he wants to be Chelsea version of Ryan Giggs. cant believe he said that tbh.
Kalou is another delusional player, he thinks he is good enough to be a regular for Chelsea. Clearly he is not and he will always be a sub/utility player.
The person who is most likely gone is Anelka, and tbh i rather keep him over Malouda and Kalouless. Anelka knows his role and place with the squad and imo could be good spark of the bench when needed next season.

Re: Rumour Mill
Yeah Anelka on his day can be awesome. I mean he can perform like one of the best forwards today and tomorrow he can play like a championship striker. But Malouda when not on form(which is like 80% of the season) is worse than a championship winger cos he thinks the ball belongs to him.
I want all three gone tbh... lots of wages there!

Re: Rumour Mill
Best game I ever saw Anelka play was that Sunderland game when he knew Chelsea were in talks with that number 9 guy we signed.
That game was pure magic from him its a shame we'll probably never see it again, Malouda is so annoying to watch he is actually decent when he sticks to the left and does crosses, but NOOOOOOOOOOOO he has to drift inside and play trequartista loves to get the ball from deep for some reason greedy sod.

I hope we are not talking to Modric without the Spuds knowing, at least not now cos the media kinda has an idea.

Let's start with the Daily Mail's claim that Juventus are 'weighing up' an offer for John Obi Mikel, and that Chelsea are willing to sell for 15M. This makes sense in two cases, the first being the world in which we can find a capable defensive midfielder to slot in as his replacement for less than 15M (which I can't really see, but who knows) and the second being a switch from the 4-1-2-3 to a 4-2-3-1 system, which also seems unlikely. Also, something about Michel Bastos, who wouldn't be a totally unreasonable solution to the left winger problem, what with being an un-injured Brazilian version of Yuri Zhirkov. But, in all likelihood, the Mail's just making this up. What a shocker that would be.
Speaking of shockers, it looks like that Javier Pastore deal mentioned by Maurizio Zamparini doesn't exist after all, but he's sticking to his guns regarding the 90% likelihood of him leaving to England or Spain, with Real Madrid and Malaga the current favourites. Barcelona have been excluded because they have Andres Iniesta and Xavi in the midfield, but apparently Zamparini doesn't think much of the combined talents of Mesut Ozil, Nuri Sahin, Kaka and the other undoubtedly excellent attacking midfield players Jose Mourinho boasts that I've embarrassingly forgotten about. In other words, Zamparini is still crazy. Oh, and if Pastore doesn't move on by the end of the Copa America, he's not leaving Palermo at all, says the boss. I'm not exactly going to take his word for it.
Fabio Coentrao has at long last moved from Benfica to Real Madrid. Since that news was first mentioned something like three weeks ago, I believe that this marks the fastest transfer that Benfica have been involved in, ever. Coentrao had somewhat bizarrely been linked to Chelsea (hence the mention), but that was a rumour that never really made any sense, so off he goes to Real in order to fight it out with Marcelo for the left back spot. The cost? €30M. There's a lot of talent flowing out of Portuguese football right now, and one wonders how long it'll take them to recover.
Something something Luka Modric something something. I don't think much has changed since we last visited the little Croatian, and if Chelsea really want him they're going to have to be prepared for the transfer process to last all summer. Personally, I think Pastore's a better fit thanks to where he'd prefer to play in the midfield triangle, but I'd take Modric at a reasonably price quite happily, since Pastore will be super-expensive and it'll annoy Tottenham Hotspur.
Oh, and there are rumours that Andre Villas-Boas could be looking to strengthen the centre of the Chelsea defence with a bid for Scott Dann or Gary Cahill. These apparently stem from the rumours that David Luiz could be on the move to Real Madrid or Barcelona, and are probably equally valid. If the Blues are looking for a fifth choice, English centre half, Nathaniel Chabolah will do just fine. Depth in the middle of the defence is something approaching the least of Chelsea's concerns.
Re: Rumour Mill
Juventus are weighing up a move for Chelsea midfielder John Mikel Obi.
Chelsea rate the 24-year-old at £15m and are willing to sell.

Modric is due to meet with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy in the next 24 hours when he will again stress his desire to depart White Hart Lane this summer.

we are looking at rolando now, one of the best 24 year old cb's in the world very underrated and is worth more than the 13 mil we would need to buy him

Re: Rumour Mill
We aren't going to sign any defenders that's all bullshit.
And I actually now believe that Bruma can have a future at this club, however he will need to be consistent with Hamburg over the next 1 or 2 years. He'll be playing top flight football in Germany so that will be good for him, rather than loan him to a Championship side.

Re: Rumour Mill
I really like the Bruma loan deal, if he impresses in the next 2 years then his future is set at Chelsea.
Rolando is very impressive but i think he is too good to be a backup CB.

Correct. If Bruma can establish himself at Hamburg in two years, then when he comes back Terry will be 32, and would probably have just a year more left in him (plus all the injuries). With that Bruma can step up to the plate.
