I think it's good for Ajax to not qualify for the second tour. They have not a team for a CL, maybe playing the Europa League will be far more interesting for this young team.

The thing is we were playing Ajax away, who had a chance to qualify.

Whereas Barca were playing against BATE at home who had no chance to qualify.

Ajax would have gotten 3 million only for qualifying, which is a lot of money for a small club like them.
