It seems I'm the only one who has faith in him. He played like what, 4 matches? Give him some time, remember what Abate was first like? I saw him a lot with Marseille and know that he is a great fullback, with some time and patience, I'm confident that he will be a hit.

Abate was like that because he was never a defender to begin with ... and he was exposed a lot of times for Leonardo because that tactic allowed more space for the enemy .... Taiwo has been a defender his whole life and he looks vulnerable ... I still hope that he can prove us wrong because I want a beast like that in defence ! Sad

Taiwo was olaying really well for OM before he came here though, so I wonder what's going on? Also, I'd like to see a trademark Taiwo super-powerful FK.

taiwo hasn't impressed, that's for sure but i fail to see how antonini is doing better or doing well at all!!, in the same way i fail to see why bonera still getting playtime despite having someone like mexes in our sequad!!!.....

Yepes came off yesterday injured, but I don't understand what you mean regarding Mexes, he's a good player just coming back from two bad injuries, actually looking forward to seeing him and Thiago Silva playing together.

As for Tawio, poor guy got an opportunity of a lifetime and hasn't impressed management since day one.

Personally i've never been a fan from only seeing him play in Champions league matches with Marsielle, but just watching him with Milan, he has no confidence in anything that he does, maybe if he was given a boost who knows, but now it looks likely he'll be gone in Jan.

In recent seasons, Yepes has proved to be a far more solid and reliable defender than Mexes.

I like Mexes, I like his attitude. But just because he's a bigger household name, that doesn't mean he instantly gets hierachy over Yepes.

Never disputed that Yepes isn't good, but it doesn't change the fact that Yepes is and always will be a squad player, where once Mexes is 100% he will be more in forefront than the the others.

Give Mexes a chance when he is not paired with Bonera at CB. Plus hes played in 3 games total for us and isn't fully 100% yet

... but allegri should be atleast giving him honest reason saying ur not in my plans... i m reading that allegri has had no words with him personally whatsoever and keeping him isolated. thats no way to treat any player even if he is a backup/reserve player. hence taiwo's concern.

nevertheless, if he isnt on allegri's plan, better off selling him, i am reading newcastle is ready to invest on him, also galliani said taiwo maybe sold.

if newcastle has genuine interest on him... would be nice if galliani asks for davide santon because santon hasnt played for newcastle at all. would be awesome if there would be direct swap. he can play as LB or RB as abate sub as he is naturally right footed. plus he is italian he had plenty of first team experience, just need to build his confidence.

but so sad taiwo couldnt get enough opportunity or he wasnt good enough for allegri. he was very happy to play for us and had so many good things to say about our club.

still he had a great debut, great season the year inter won. would be nice if we bring him and revive him just as we did with abate nocerino and aquilani. plus good thing is that he can play both right and left. he could fight for LB and also be sub for abate, well instead of not playing at alll in newcastle.

I remember saying Taiwo is a bad signing once we got him and ppl went crazy, I remember saying he is a slight upgrade over Antonini and it seems I was wrong there.
