Who is your main Rival for the Tittle?
Hello guys
I'm aware Juventus are in a "little bit" better form than Milan this season thus far, but I do not see Juventus being the main candidate for tittle for a numerous reasons. I'm pretty sure you do not either. Milan is the team to beat not because of good organization of tactics but because of quality. Your individual quality is insane in the attacking side and your CB's rock!
With Juventus fighting for a Champions League spot, with an amazing Napoli, Udinese and Lazio sides so far and an Inter that cal always bounce back the league will be tight.
Supposing that Milan is the team to beat, who do you guys see as the main threat for the tittle?
Cheers!

I honestly don't know. I am ecstatic with Inter's poor run since they are always a danger, but with the way things are going, probably juve? Napoli haven't been THAT consistent, and it seems like they are progressing in CL so they will be stretched. It's up to juve really.

At this point Juve. I wouldn't count Udinese out though they can be a thorny team. Napoli is inconsistent. Same for Lazio as well. Inter are on poor form but if they spend big in January might be back but as of right now they don't look like anything more than a mid-table team. But as of right now I would say Juve

I still believe that Udinese will struggle to mount an enduring title challenge with only one proven goal scorer, though I am a fan of Floro Flores. They are where they are because they've only conceded six times thus far, however it would take an incredible effort to maintain such solidity throughout the season.
Napoli need to strengthen in January if they're to take advantage of possibly being knocked out of Europe straight away in the new year. Mazzari is beginning to rotate more efficiently, however it's not enough in my eyes, though they'll be in the upper echelons of the table. I feel similarly concerning Lazio in terms of depth.
Roma haven't the defence to threaten us for the title. That leaves Juventus and Inter. Juventus are currently our main threats, however we need to see whether Pirlo and key members of their defence maintain their fitness and if they fail to do so, how the squad responds. It's getting increasingly difficult to take Inter seriously, however as I've said before, judgements should be made in January concerning title credentials. If Inter can pull back three-five points in the next month then they're definitely still worth keeping an eye on. Given Ranieri's substitutes though, I'm inclined to feel that they're going to be fighting against themselves for the rest of the year. They need instant results to challenge for the title, however the fight for third place is going to be such a dog fight that it's going to take enormous managerial incompetence for Inter to knock themselves out of that.
362 minutes since we've conceded a league goal, time to make Juventus pay for any slip-ups.

Juventus definitely. Udinese will choke sooner than later. Lazio and Napoli are too inconsistent. As for Inter, even if they spend big in Jan, damage has already been done. But seriously Milan can even finish outside a CL spot, competition is fierce this season. With luck and injuries, IMO anyone from Juve, Milan, Napoli or Udinese can win the Scudetto.

Re: Who is your main Rival for the Tittle?
Am I the only one naive enough to suggest that there are no contenders. Milan had a slow start, but I am positive that they will retain the Serie A title this year.
The biggest possible "pretender" at the moment is Juventus and they may challenge. Juve are a great side, but they need to stabilise now. They don't look like a league winning side just yet... always so many players in and so many players out, but still the squad is too complex and inflated. Conte can see his preferred midfield but he is still unsure about who to pick for attack.
On the other hand, Milan have the continuity from last season and there have not been too many new faces, the new arrivals have already settled well. We will struggle with an over-reliance on Ibra and Boateng up front, with Cassano out for a while, Pato continuously in and out and Robinho staying shiite at shooting.
The other concern is the ageing/talentless LB spot.. Zambrotta is still class but just doesn't have the legs anymore to play week in week out and Antonini...well....
Lastly, much debated recently- the decline of van Bomb the season and el Capitano Magnifico Ambro is not up to scratch either.
All in all, for me Milan still favourites for the title, I don't expect the same kind of continuity from any other team unless Juve really and I mean really get in the groove. Milan has something Juve, Lazio, Napoli etc don't have and that is the ability to win ugly and we will exploit this.
Milan might need to dip into the transfer market in January to get a fresh DM though because Nocerino and Aquaman look to be settled in the CM roles and I don't see either moving to that screen position in front of the back four

Juve and Napoli, because they are the only 2 teams that have beaten us this year (except Barca).

If we add midfielders and Tevez arrives as good but not necessary addition, then we are in a pole position

Re: Who is your main Rival for the Tittle?
We are getting our form back, and it really depends now in our and Juve's health.
Injuries will be catastrophic and pivotal in deciding the fate of this campaign. Also, our CL run. As we progress, we will be stretched. I would honestly rather have us go far in the CL than win Serie A. Both is not bad either.
Juve should not be underestimated. They already began their free fall at this time last year. And in this campaign they already passed the more difficult test with flying colors.
The key problem with both teams is lack of quality back ups to important players. Which is why health is most probably the most important factor in the title race.
Onward and upward gentlemen.

Re: Who is your main Rival for the Tittle?
I'm kind of disappointed with the quality of Serie A this year tbh. Yes, Udinese, Napoli, Palermo, and other usually mid table teams are playing very well, but there is no real competition for the title. It's us or Juventus. And it's that lack of competition that makes me hate La Liga.
