Juventus have become the second Serie A club in two days to be paired with a move for Angelo Palombo of Sampdoria.

The Italian international could be sold by the Serie B outfit in January after a problematic start to the season at Marassi.

Palombo, a central midfielder, was paired with moves to Napoli and Fiorentina during the summer, but stayed loyal to Doria.

On Monday, he was strongly linked with a possible switch to Parma once the winter transfer window opens.

However, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport on Tuesday, the Old Lady of Italian football are now pondering a bid.

Juve director general Beppe Marotta, formerly of Samp, is a big fan and thinks he could be a valuable addition to the Bianconeri midfield.

Juve may offer youngster Luca Marrone and a substantial amount of cash in exchange for the 30-year-old.

There is better than Palombo though. Otherwise I somewhat agree, midfield cover is required.
