Re: El Clasico at Santiago Bernabeu
sure ozil scored on that supercup match, but overall he wasnt very influential on the classicos,i think that sacrificing him for a 3 man mid is worth it.

Tbh I think Marcelo + Di Maria partnership at left is best vs Barcelona.
They both are grade A Alves rapists and Di Maria will give the cover Marcelo needs

Doc wrote:Not to burst anyone's bubble but Real Madrid can lose this game quite normal. Barcelona have a nasty habit of showing up for big games and this is no different. Our fanbase here has always been "up in your face" types but I realise certain posters have been acting a bit....cocky lately to say the least. I would like to suggest said individuals take it easy for a bit as I can assure you, the backlash of Barcelona beating Real Madrid in the Bernabeu would not be easy to swallow....
Just a doc's humble advise on these matters....
I really keep believing they are more strong than us and they can beat us at home, but meanwhile, i repeat it, a Real Madrid win won't be a miracle.
Barcelona didn't lose a big match for ages (except la CDR final) even when they are in bad shape, so whatever the clasico result will be, NOBODY will be shocked.

3 man midfield with Coentrao maybe work vs Barca, who knows.
But I disagree about Ozil wasn't too influential in past clasicos. He's probably our player who's most productive in creating chances vs barca in 7 clasico games since first clasico last season.
Ozil was good on supercup first leg not solely because of that goal, he had solid game & created open goal chances both Ronaldo & Benzema missed in second half that could have made us won that game. He's more influential than Benzema in first leg game imo, Benzema was better in the second leg though.
And we already tried 3 man mid (with Pepe though) with Benzema in clasico home league game last season & we sucked until Ozil came on for Benz, we even ended up to equalise despite playing with 10 man, talk about being influential.
Ozil also very influential during his time on the pitch in final CDR, we could have been leading the game in the first half & probably no extra time needed if Pepe (the header) & Ronaldo scored chances Ozil created.

Re: El Clasico at Santiago Bernabeu
He is heavily critisized in Spain because of his 'new' role They expect him to participate in deeper build up, upper build up and to score/assist at teh same timealexander mahone wrote:Ganso wrote:sure ozil scored on that supercup match, but overall he wasnt very influential on the classicos,i think that sacrificing him for a 3 man mid is worth it.

A Cuatro tv report on Real-Barça duel.
It talks about the new position that Pep should handle (He never was 2nd after 13j), poor Barça away marks and the stunning Madrid attack.

Only problem is that Ronaldo is afraid of the right side of the pitch for some reason.Probably because it means less scoring opputunities for him.

Re: El Clasico at Santiago Bernabeu
I think the way how Mou gave Khedira the permission to go forward and play deeply the attack, is kinda a sign that Mou will play with TRIVOTE in midfield.
-----ALONSO
LASS----KHEDIRA
maybe the perfect midfield if the german and the french players are in their top fit mentally and physically. This tactic will get Ozil benched.

Playing Lass-Xabi-Khedira together is a mistake.

its not needed with di maria there imo it's a waste but in theory its better becouse of the pressing, our counter attacks start higher up

It doesn't IF the two players will be in a good shape.
We saw how Barça won in SanSiro, they raped Milan in the midfield, so Xavi and Messi were totally inmarked and you know the rest.
Now, if we get Lass and Khedira in a great day, with Khedira getting more and more forward, we can make sure our midfield will be rough and this will certainly weack Barça automatism. Other point, Di Maria will have a light defensive burden and can mark high Abidal. The second half we can use Ozil.
I'm pretty sure Mou tactic is waiting them and counter attack massively. They have to win.

Re: El Clasico at Santiago Bernabeu
Dont compare Milan with us. Ibra, Pato, Seedorf, Robinho and many of Milan players can't press good enough. also Milan is an aged team. they can't keep pressing like us.
The match is in Bernabeu and we should press high. the best formation is our usual 4-2-3-1 . like Supercup.
this time we must attack them. there is nothing to fear.
btw im afraid we go for a 0-0 draw. i will be disappointed.

Mou wil go for a win !! Draw tactics don't exist in this game for both sides.
We have to win and we are able to (bad feeling still exists )

Re: El Clasico at Santiago Bernabeu
pressing isnt the only way to beat them, the secret to beat barca was seen on the milan vs barca match, all the opposition has to do is slow down the tempo and take your time/pass wisely, not act like a headless chicken pressing them up high all the time, even young players will end up tired.i dont think madrid has the players to do that right now like we have(MVB,nesta, silva, ibra, binho, seedorf, aquilani),so you guys should stick with pressing.Mamad wrote:Dont compare Milan with us. The only reason we lost was because of that damn ref/dive,own goal and pato not being 100%

But to be honest, that wasn't exactly Barcas best game/pressing. Slowing the tempo will help, but Barcas pressing is really good, and a quick tempo counter system is much more effective.
Inters performance vs Barca shows much more than the Milan one. You've to be ready to pressure, counter quickly and have a good discipline and defending. Also avoid giving contact to Busquets at all times becouse referees seems to be red card hungry vs us.

Re: El Clasico at Santiago Bernabeu
they were pressing a lot,but it was useless because when they pressed one of our players, mainly mvb and nesilva, they would always find a great pass to someone who was unmarked.

Barca always play in a slow tempo lol.
Also milan were lucky they had no iniesta so was getafe but he will be ready for madrid game.
Barca played 343 against milan, they will play 433 against us,with alves..

Alves, other than his cross for Ibra, he used to be off against us.
If we can win midfield war, the path for the 3 pts will be smooth.
