Javi Martinez... you guys really think the Basques are going to give Real Madrid one of their bright young stars. He can go anywhere but Real Madrid if he plans on ever going home and surviving lol.

I don't think improving in freekicks will be a plus for us coz CR dominate all pitch FK positions.

Otherwise, giving the green light to Khedira to go forward and participate in building attacks will be a nice chance for Ozil to play more as a 10 and to not be burnt to the ground. We need a solid, tactically and physically, midfielder wich can allow player to go forward and press within the 20m of the opponent.
IMO, Sahin will be the key to Ozil sparks.

Passing javi is miles superior as he is termed as next xabi for a reason,He does play CB for the basques so his reading of the game,defensive techique and aerial abilities are really good.And he has more creativity in his toe nail than khedira has in his entire body..Also much better ball player and possession keeper than khedira ever will be.

No.... i'm not saying Xabi or anyone needs to go full b2b because it wouldn't be necessary with M'Vila. If they don't have to play as deep (which they wouldn't with M'Vila), they would be in a much more aggressive position to feed the attack and jump in when the opportunity presents itelf. Whenever Xabi gets the chance to move past midfield with the ball at his feet, he's a huge threat to find an open player with a through pass. Right now, he only gets there when we dominate possession because he has deep defensive responsibilities. Sahin is an extremely great passer too. Why waste them deep when you don't have to. The whole idea is not to make the creative mids cover more real estate but less or same real estate and in a more dangerous area.

As far as Javi Martinez: Same player as Khedira... only a year younger and not as good.

Why bring someone in who a) adds no extra dimensions, b) is not as good as the current starter and c) is getting close to his prime; so the upside is not much higher than today?

Mvilla is only defensively better than khedira from what i have seen.

javi and vidal whome are much better all rounders are rarely produced in football.

Also what if teams bracket xabi and forced Mvilla to create??

Xabi-javi,Xabi-vidal is a two way creative double pivot.

Also one trick ponies will get benched or sold when coach changes or system changes in future..

I think Xabi will have a difficult playing in higher position anyway, even if you want him to be more aggressive, he wont necessarily be better.

he excels at distributing the ball from deep, the higher he moves, the less effective he gets because his awereness in the last 30m isnt that great, and so is his ability to play the final ball.

His lethargy and lack of technique would cost him dearly as well, as he can hardly get passed anyone. The M'vila combination with Sahin would be perfect, but it's true that to play with Xabi, you need to bring a much higher offensive contribution.

As much as we think Khedira does nothing in attack, he still makes runs in the box to get available for crosses, and tries his best to go forward and back.

Javi is about as good as Khedira, but their skillset is nothing alike. Khedira is a tactical beast that keep things very simple, makes no fuss, and tries to perform within the limits of his game. I think both arent that different in terms of "level" atm, but Javi cant break into Spain XI because of the quality available to them.
