That when we were winning CL ties in Camp Nou, or ending Chelsea's 5 year unbeaten record at SB, or cruising past Real Madrid in Real Madrid to the point they thanked got not to have got double digited, and in CL Semis every years...there was no GoalLegacy to gloat, and rub it in.

Yet now that we are also-rans and behind...the forum life is more active than ever. so sad Sad

It's like living in the same cando as Milan Kunis for many years, but not being aware of it, and once you know that the chick is within meters of you....she's gone.

madrid will never beat liverpool 4-0, liverpool in cl is too experienced for that. they will defend too good.

I was watching a 10 min clip of our defending under Rafa, and how we used to press so high up the pitch...god it was a joy to watch.

It's not even comparable now....Real would stuff us.

Shame that under Rafa, we had champagne players on a beer budget. Now it's the exact opposite.

yeah its the same as us, in season 07/08 we pressed so much better and our passing was just incredible, close to barca's imo, REALLY close. but we have gotten worse since then...... i remember that year when we played liverpool and gerrard after the game said that he thought we had 12 or 13 men on the field lol.

Rafa's 10M bid for Dani Alves was accepted by Sevilla in 2006. Just before the final signature, Sevilla asked for 2M extra, Rick Parry reckoned it's too much of a risk, and despite Rafa's will, he pulled outta the deal.

few weeks later, we signed Pennant for 7M, as the alternative :facepalm:
