spurs have very few average players imo: vdv adebayor modric lennon parker.

yes tottenham have overpayed and have had some failed projects, but this is only because people compare to arsenal. look at manc and chelsea spending way more.

besides their results show that it has at least somewhat payed off. 3rd in the league with a game in hand.. not bad.

Nah, that's the stories fans tell themselves to feel better at night.

What matters if where you end up at the end of the season in league rankings, that's the bottom line, that by which all clubs are judged.

At the moment they are ahead of you, having beaten you, with one game in hand. Doesnt matter how much they spend, how much better your academy is, or how much richer in history you are compared to them. If they beat you for a top 4 finish, you will be crying and nothing about those things will make you feel better.

@ aleumdance, Chelsea on one transfer spent alot more than them

Pathetico..... spends a lot on average players yet they are average, but harry has been doing wonders with a bunch of average players that were discarded off in bigger teams

thats were the praise comes from, who was bale before they got him??? who was modric??? who was defoe???...my point is they are doing wonders for a team that cant spend on better players because they arent attractive enough

i mean drogba was great before chelsea got him so was RVP and all the rest of it, spuds has never had that luxury of attractive big name players because of their past state(of never making europe etc etc)

and about the olympic stadium, why build a new one when you can get a finished one next to you that wont be in use

for the past 100 years or God knows what, Spuddies taunt us to be south gooner nomads , just cuz Arsenal were founded in Woolwich...they even were calling Emirates "arabdome" when it was built..

so seeing them trying to "run away" to east london was just them nullifying their "north london manifesto"

No matter how much cash they've splurged ,I think Harry is building a solid all-round team.

A few seasons ago ,you could say that there were so many loopholes in the Spurs team.Now they only need a few adjustments to be considered a top EPL outfit who can compete for the Premier league title.But the problem is that they've to convince their best players to stay.

They are the Napoli of the PL as far as i am concerned.

A new LB to replace Assou-Ekotto and they would be a better team already.

Agreed.Their defense is the only place where it needs reinforcements and ofcourse a long term Gk replacement for Friedel.

They pretty much have quality in all other areas imo

when i see parker, alonso isnt too slow after all
