GTA 3 Ten Year Anniversary- Your Favourite Memories
This thread is for all the people to share with us their favourite GTA 3 memories. I'm gonna share some of mine, they may seem dumb to you now, but believe me I had the time of my life doing these stuff.
One time I had an ambulance and parked it in the middle of road creating a HUGE traffic jam. Then I got my baseball bat and just massacred every pedestrian until the cops wasted me.
Finally managing to beat a train in a race with a green Banshee (which I stored in my garage and been tehre ever since) I was raising my arms and celebrating with my mum just shaking her head in the back.
Managing to actually fly the damn Dodo plane.
My friend with a minor interest in games going "Wow, you can do that?", "Woah, you even can do that" "HOW THE FUK DID YOU DO THAT!!" "MUM I AM GOING TO BUY GTA 3!" in the space of 10 minutes.
Managing to survive 5 stars for 30 minutes with an epic conclusion. My car, just a fraction away from catching fire But I made it into Pay N Spray.
Finishing the main story.
Lolling at Chatterbox.
Getting the tank and just wreaking havoc, spawning 6 stars.
Confirming the banging hookers rumour.
Hard to beleive a decade has passed. Thank you Rockstar Games

Re: GTA 3 Ten Year Anniversary- Your Favourite Memories
I loved GTA: Vice City. Best memories in that was getting that Horting Racer...the Nascar-type car. Fun times. I would just drive around for hours it was that much fun...not to mention I was like twelve.
By far, I loved GTA: IV the most. Epic game and so realistic. Relationships, actual cars, amazing reactions and graphics, etc.
So much time spent playing violent games. How I miss those days.
Thank you Rockstar !
P.S. Is there going to be a GTA: V ? Any word out ?

Re: GTA 3 Ten Year Anniversary- Your Favourite Memories
Vice City is my fav game of all time and this game here, is a close second. I remember my big bro telling me how great this game was when it came out, how you can shoot and kill people on the street, rob cars, bang prostitiutes and just cause havoc on the streets. I was like "gtfo..no way" then I played it and I was blown away (no pun intended).
It definitely revolutionized the gaming industry. For me, it was everything the game Driver should have been. You could just put the game on and play for hours and hours.
My favourite memory of the game was the mission Triad Wars....the whole of Liberty City was filled with the Mafia and Triads gang fights, the annonymous phone calls missions and Ray's missions.
Chatterbox was comedy gold lulz. I always had that radio station on. Plus Flash fm played the entire Scarface sound track.
I was dissapointed that they decided to release this game on the Iphone 4s for it's anniversary rather than release it on the PS3.
Truly a great game.

Vice City. It was awesome. Simply awesome. The atmosphere in the game was just so special, you really felt part of it like in no other game.
Ever since I played Vice City, I've had this little dream that at some point in my life, no matter how old I'll be, I want to go to a place like Miami in the summer, buy or rent an open-top car and drive by the ocean in the evening while listening to Cutting Crew's I Just Die in Your Arms Tonight.

lol awesome. Vice City had the best songs on there and the graphics and atmosphere Rockstar created totally captured the whole 80's vibe. That game was a masterpiece.
I haven't liked a GTA game since Vice City tbh.

Re: GTA 3 Ten Year Anniversary- Your Favourite Memories
- The soundtrack. Chatterbox, Game Radio, Flashback FM
- Having a great car like a bulletproof Infernus and you wind up wrecking it, so the only way to save it was to push the wrecked shell all the way to your garage.
- Messing around with some cheats like the flying cars. So much fun getting a tank airborne.
- Trying to fly the Dodo and keep it in the air, I always tried to make it back to the first island from the third. I think I probably did it once, it was hard.
- Using cheats to make a tank wall, and causing mayhem, usually by the alley in front of the hospital on the first island.
- 8Balls missions, which usually involved blowing someone up with a carbomb.
....such a great game.

Yeah..8balls missions were awesome. He was a great character too.. "my hands are all messed up, so u better drive, brother"
the best cheats for me in the game was the one where each civilian was armed with a weapon, then you add the cheat where every civilian attacks you- Epic! You become the most wanted man in LC. It was like playing a new game.

Yeah that was a great cheat, caused complete chaos.
Also, Fernando's New Beginnings on Chatterbox always had me dying. Fernando was hilarious.
And this was probably my favorite song on the soundtrack:

Re: GTA 3 Ten Year Anniversary- Your Favourite Memories
Instead of making a GTA V, Rockstar should just remake Vice City and San Andreas with the GTA IV style graphics
Plus add extra missions, weapons and add in the GTA IV style multiplayer also

Isn't L.A Noire Rockstar next big thing? Still waiting for window release. I kinda like Rockstar stay away from GTA franchise for awhile. RDR was the best sandbox game I've played, it delivered great story something GTA lacks. Though fake sandbox, I thought Mafia was better game than GTA 3 back in the day.

Best mission ever. Then the next mission where you drive the garbage truck and blow up the Triads factory was awesome too.
Fav GTA missions
GTA 3: Triad Wars
Vice City: The Job
San Andreas: Vertical Bird and the Casino robbery mission
GTA 4: Four Leaf Clover
Also best cheat was the one where you get the tank. Still remember most of the codes on PC: gunsgunsguns, iwannabearichman, nopoliceplease, morepoliceplease.

It is for sure in development. I heard Rockstar spent 80 million this year on developing games. 30 for Max Payne 3 and 50 for GTA. I think we will see it in 2013. Rockstar always releases a major console game each year.
2008: GTA IV
2009: Episodes From Liberty City
2010: Red Dead Redemption
2011: LA Noire
2012: Max Payne 3
2013: New GTA
2014: Agent/ Episodes From Whatever City
Gonna be something like that me thinks.

Re: GTA 3 Ten Year Anniversary- Your Favourite Memories
oof what memories this game brings me, playing it in december 2006 borrowing it from a friend, played through the whole game, and what was cool was that everyday of the month was rainy, dark, and cold just like most of the game, and i did all the missions, and the music is so memorable as well...
this game marked an era for me. an era of 2 years lol
