Real Madrid are pushing to land Inter Milan fullback Douglas Maicon in a swap for Kaka.

Gazzetta dello Sport says former Inter boss Jose Mourinho wants the Brazilian at his disposal next season and is willing to sacrifice Kaka to make it happen.

Real will apparently not only offer cash for the right-back, but also the loan of the attacking midfielder who has a good relationship with Nerazzurri boss Leonardo.

It is claimed that Real would even pay half of Kaka’s €10m salary for the 2011-12 campaign
