Trash your Tevez shirt!
Carlos Tevez is fast becoming public enemy No 1 in Manchester and he may want to avoid the Old Trafford area this Sunday.
The Argentine striker, who quit Manchester United for rivals City in 2009, will miss this weekend's top-of-the-table derby clash after his alleged refusal to come off the bench against Bayern Munich last month has seen him cast aside by manager Roberto Mancini.
City fans have since turned on their former captain with Manchester now seemingly united in their loathing of the ex-West Ham star.
And it is highly unlikely the 26-year-old will be anywhere near his former stomping ground this Sunday with both sets of fans ready to vent their frustration towards him.
Bookmakers Betfair, club sponsors of Manchester United, will be deploying a giant rubbish 'Recycling Tevez' skips outside Old Trafford on Sunday - one half blue and one half red - for fans to dump their replica shirts with his name on in exchange for brand new ones.
Over 75,000 fans are expected to descend down Sir Matt Busby Way and they are being encourage to ditch their unwanted Tevez jerseys which will then be dispatched to his native Argentina and handed to local charities.
'Time and time again Tevez has let the fans down,' said Betfair spokesman Alex Bake.
'What better way for fed up supporters to show they want rid of him for good than by dumping their shirts.
'These two sets of supporters don't often see eye to eye, but I'm sure they'll all be pleased if he leaves Manchester in the January transfer window.'
Indeed Tevez is desperate to quit the Etihad Stadium when the January transfer window opens for business with his future at City almost certainly over while Mancini remains at the helm.

What kind of sickness you think that much money can cause?

Re: Trash your Tevez shirt!
When you don't have to worry about money it's easier to find problems elsewhere.
Humans are simple beings, when the fear for survival is gone the mind convinces you that you are in danger from other things.

It's ridiculous the amount of people here that think that money = happiness.
I'm sure the company will sell those Tevez shirts elsewhere at a discount

Re: Trash your Tevez shirt!
Money can buy you things that make you happy though.
But in all seriousness Tevez being paid millions doesn't really mean he doesn't have problems.

This is quite possibly the funniest thing I have ever seen related to football.

Re: Trash your Tevez shirt!
Granted, but the general attitude of "how dare he complain? he makes so much money!" is getting old very fast. Football is his job, nothing more. Your job is just a part of your life.Lex wrote:On the flipside, it wouldn't exactly put a crimp on my dayBarrileteCosmico wrote:It's ridiculous the amount of people here that think that money = happiness

Re: Trash your Tevez shirt!
Why do that, when you can simply sell them to deluded Manchester fans in Malaysia for 150% the original price?

Depends on the person.. If you're rich but you don't have a family or are in bad health then sure you probably wouldn't be happy
If I get millions of dollars my family and friends won't all of a sudden disappear off the face of this Earth, and my health won't begin to go downhill.. Those are whats important for me outside of money.. Thus if I have all three, I would be one happy muthafxcka

Re: Trash your Tevez shirt!
The fact Tevez has been in England for about five years now and still speaks very horrendously broken, incomprehensible, and atrocious English may be why he feels isolated.
Honestly, learn the language and maybe you can be immersed better in society and what not. I am not saying it to be racist or anything, but if you live in England and want to be socially active, would it not make sense to learn the language ?
His social ties are weak and his language may be partially to blame.
