Wait, maybe Torres has a teeny tiny bit of chance of getting back to his best after two fantastic performances in a row vs Man Utd and Leverkusen and now that he finally has a coach that focuses in passing the ball around? I would wait to see how he performs tomorrow at the very least.

Where did you get that stat from ?He's had only 1 assist but he has scored 3 goals ,1 of them in EL qualifying round i think..
He hasnt exactly taken Serie A by storm but its a good piece of Business nevertheless..

Was this just a thread to slam Torres? I mean there's a bunch of those already in the general section, did those get too stale and you needed to start a fresh one?

It's not a theory, the Economist Stefan Szymanski has published journals in which he proves how much you pay on transfers explains little on how you will finish in the table. On the other side, how much you pay on your wage bill explains A LOT on how you will finish on the table.
