Those are their available defenders, the first two apart it's looking promising.

Song will miss through suspension, so I guess they'll play Wilshere + Ramsey in CM. I wouldn't mind Frimpong either.

If Rosicky picked up a knock and can't play, I dunno who's going to be their CAM.

Maybe:
Sagna - Kosnielcy - Vermaelen - Squillaci
Walcott - Wilshere - Ramsey - Bendtner
Arshavin
Van Persie

Or 4 - 4 - 2 with Van Persie & Chamack / Bendtner.

And their bench will be very short on quality.
Gotta say I'm really looking forward to this match.

ESPN reporting that Wilshere could miss Arsenal's next three games, so in all probability he will at least miss Saturday's game. Good news for us, then.

I think they can still field a respectable attack of Walcott, Ramsey, Rosicky, Arshavin, Van Persie and Bendtner or Chamack, but that's pretty much all they've got.

I wish it was already Saturday.

I think this is the side Arsenal will play against us:

Sznynzy (w.e Spelling)
Sagna-Koscielni-Vermaelen-Jenkinson
Frimpong-Rosicky
Walcott-Ramsey-Arshavin
RVP

They look very solid on the right hand side, but we should look to exploit the inexperience of Jenkinson and the fact that Arshavin doesn't help the fullback as much as Walcott does. RVP is deadly when on form, so Agger must be on his toes. Their 3 CMs are there for the taking, Frimpong commits a lot of fouls, Rosicky ball watches a lot and Ramsey is probably the best of the lot.

How I think, we should set up:

Reina
Kelly-Carra-Agger-Enrique
Lucas-Adam
Kuyt-Suarez-Downing
Carroll

Bench: Doni, Skrtel, Flanagan, Spearing, Meireles, Henderson, Aurelio

The only question mark would be the temptation to throw Jay in there. If Wilshere was playing, I would actually play Jay in place of Adam as he was fantastic there last year, but I think our midfield should definitely contain them and we don't have to chase them like we did in April when they had Cesc,Wilshere and Nasri playing.

Udinese absolutely dominated them the other night and we should do it as well as they don't have Song, gaps could be easier to exploit.

One thing is that we need to be wise with possession, don't give space to Walcott and especially RVP, and don't lose the ball cheaply. Referee in Martin Atkinson, so don't hope for much when Carroll goes in 1 vs 1 battles with Koscielni or keeper. Need Suarez to have a good game

i havnt seen a weaker Arsenal team since..forever.

Not being xavi ( humble n respectful) but its your's to lose. Probably the first time at the emirates where we wont be the favourites going in.

The team sepi posted is about right. Although i hope we see Arshavin instead of Rosicky in the middle and Miyaichi on the left with Theo on the right.

Wish wenger would have signed someone this week but meh.

Everyone was like that when we were vsing Man City RG, and we came out to beat them 3-0. Confidence is key. Arsene knows what he's doing. This game will be closer than everyone is thinking. Pretty sure it's going to be a draw, but I'm hoping we get the edge. :\

Skrtel would totally depend on his fitness plus i really don't see any point in rushing him in the team . .he should take his time in getting in the team . .

Yeah, last season MU, MC & CFC were favored against us and we went on to win all those games.

However, I hope we take full advantage of the situation and record our first win of season.

well i really hope Kuyt & Kelly are starters . .i feel these changes would really stabilize the team a bit more . .

As mentioned previously, here is my ideal starting line-up:

4-3-1-2:

Doni
Kelly-Carra-Agger-Jose
Adam-Lucas-Downing
Meireles
Suarez-Carroll

Subs: Aquilani? Spearing, Kuyt

Kelly? He provides the attacking an defensive solidity as well as his usual big game performances while the "carragger" partnership combines silk and steel needed to subdue and frusterate the gunner attack whereas Jose is a give.

Adam although optimal in the central, can still provide his excellent vision and distribution on wide while interchanging positions with the other mids. Lucas? No question. Downing will simply provide the width and other factors.

Meireles should start as his all rounded technique and engine will provide the versatility needed up front to supply Carroll and Adam whereas Suarez and Carroll for obvious reasons.

I really hope Kenny has fixed the problem where we hoof it under pressure to Carroll when desperate for a goal as carra is a prime suspect.

Other then that I truly miss our captain as I can't wait for the man to come back.

As for Arsenal, Nasri will be playing while Wilshere, Gervinho, Djorou and song are out as this is truly our chance to beat the gunners at their home after a long wait.

Hope to see the look on Arshavins' face if it does happen.
