There should be a tab to see who gives you thumbs down/minus reputation.

I all of a sudden have -1 rep and i have no idea why.

Personally I don't think this is a necessary feature. People will be disciplined if they abuse the reputation system so over time if you post well structured, mostly objective posts you will have positive reputation. If you troll, you'll have negative reputation. I think posters who abuse the system should be exposed but otherwise it should be an anonymous system. That's just my personal view on it.

I think it needed to be made clear that it was for exposing 'bad' posters, not just for posts you don't agree with.

Agreed. I've seen quite a few posters already complain about being docked for a simple disagreement. It doesn't send a good message on how it should be used.

I don't support the idea of public rep voting, as I think it will cause unneeded conflicts and tension between posters / sections.

I have -7 rep pts recieved I haven't done anything wrong either but I don't mind and neither should anyone else, if you post quality it will show through the negative rep.

I agree, the negative should be removed to negate abuse, either way its going to get abused so it should be removed all together because its a football forum to discuss football not a popularity contest.

tbh being able to see who voted you up or down would be nice, without anonymity i'm sure half the negative votes would disappear

How is it possible to vote reputation? I can't see the + or - signs anymore?

Oh, and I would definitely remove the sistem if possible, as it was done with Kudos, it makes people obsessed with this stuff.

I mean, we might see that rivals of a club go hunting one night to make it their mission to get everyone on the rival club have a whole lot of negative kudos. I'm just saying it could very well happen. Rivals will disagree with eachother all the time, so it gives them an incentive to put down. And if people don't like each other then there'll be a war between them. And receiving a negative vote is not nice at all!

i haven't used the rep system yet.... but is there is limit inputed by the admins.... we should only be allowed to do it a few times per hour.... or people fon't spam rep like crazy.

plus another thing that should that should be added is that the your explain why your giving the rep

It really all depends on the maturity of the members, if members are respectful and don't abuse it but give negative/positive votes when needed it can be a great tool.
