Benzema with the biggest stinker I've seen this season. Good God he was awful. Casemiro had to present a goalscoring chance on a silver platter for him to score. Couldn't even extend the same courtesy when he could've played in Casemiro for a 1v1.

The others though. Asensio, Nacho and Mendy were poor.

This was perhaps Mendy's worst game.

Asensio is just wasting a space like Bale did. He offers nothing now. I'm a supporter of him, but he has been terrible.

Last gasp equaliser aside, this was another shit performance, to me anyway. Thankfully, Atleti really choked beautifully so they kept us in the game till we sort of got our act together.

All in all, seeing Lucas getting owned by Carassco every single time and us playing shit really can ruin one's (mines) football experience.

Oh and Benzema did his best to win and not win us the game. Maybe the most quintessential Madrid player currently.

Chad is right. Benzema is a god among men in this team. Favelicius, Asensio, Mariano, Rodrygo and even Hazard are bums.

The issue is your wings are weak, Benzema isn't that bad.

Benzema is the only goal threat from open play. That's the problem.

And when Casemiro is the one making a final pass inside the box, you have to ask some questions about the others around Benzema.
