Did you notice the price Nick? It’s 3M for the loan and 9M for the purchase. 12M in total! That’s quite a drop from the 20M they were asking Valencia to pay.

Doesn't the fact that Valencia is near bankruptcy factor into this? Fact is Flo was shopping Mayoral around for 20M and eventually had to settle for a potential 12M. There were plenty of teams waiting for his contract to expire and get him for free next season, so the fact that they did get him on a renewed contract and did get something for him is a plus, but the fact is they over valuated him.

Have you not seen second wave covid numbers from Spain? This pandemic and economic crisis is a looong way from being over! Why do you guys and media have doubts about Flo repeatedly saying no signings this year?

Seems to me he's letting everyone know that there is interest... but for various reasons, right now wasn't the time.

There is one thing to say Zidane or Madrid have interest versus saying we are competing to sign him!

It sure seems to me that the majority of fans, at least here on GL don't accept that COVID is still a huge factor, that revenues are severely down, the fact of no pre season,  or the impact of playing in empty stadiums (like for instance, a comment the other day that we were playing in a non friendly stadium? as if an empty stadium can make for extra pressure on players).

I think some of GL fans are living in that alternative world that Trump stays in!

L'Equipe is a very good source for all things PSG and Lyon... not so much for OM and Monaco.

All they said was that Aouar had a conversation with Zidane and Zidane proposed him as a target to Real Madrid.  That's the entire extent of the story.  Did Real Madrid actually reach out to Aouar and Lyon?  Was the source of the story from Lyon or Aouar's agent? Nothing was said about that.
