Few years ago this would be fun...

But now I don't find the fun in it at all. Man United getting smashed by a team of their level? Color me surprised...

Halfway into the season more or less.

Steve fucking Bruce's Newcastle are level with us. Sheffield United are above us. Sheffield United. They came up this season.

LMAO. I see a discussion on Ratcafe talking about how we've gone backwards since sacking Mourinho and it's 100% true.

Ole only has one gameplan. Counter attack, everyone knows it. That's why we consistently play like shit against teams that PTB. 0 Penetration in the squad. I don't blame Ole, but he has to go. He had faith placed in him by incompetent fucktards like Ed Woodward that have a lower footballing IQ than Unique and should have nothing to do with the footballing side of the game.

Shambolic stuff. Season is a write-off. Get him out for the January window and get Poch in.

Can we all take a moment and appreciate if not admire former Barça flop Gerard Deulofeu.

Time for him to leave Watford for a bigger team IMO.

Pogba's move to United has to unquestionably be the worst big money move of the decade.

What an utter waste of 4 years.

What a player. Never has a bad touch.

He's received the ball in dangerous positions like 20 times today and his total contribution is a deflected goal. He's incredibly inefficient.

He's also made excellent passes and had chillwell and soy on their ass for most of the game. He took tons of attention towards him and allowed de bruyne to flourish

He only had a great game because he was up against Rodgers who can't set up a team to defend. He was receiving the ball in acres of space because Chilwell wasn't pressing him (worried about KDB channel runs) and Leicester's LM wasn't tracking back at all.

Let's see how he performs when City is up against their usual 5-4-1. Oh wait, we know how that goes, and that usually ends in Mahrez putting in a bum performance.

And yes him being inefficient is a problem. The best attackers are the ones who can be decisive with the least chances not the most. Fact is, not every team is going to afford him the space Leicester did in which he can get away with being inefficient.

Unless the light bulb magically turned on for him, here's what will probably happen:

He'll start the next few games, and once again play underwhelming. Then he'll stay on the bench for a few games and make a surprise appearance. He'll play good in that surprise appearance and the same situation will occur once again.

Rinse and repeat, as has been the case since he arrived.

I'm sorry, but that was the lightest touch I've seen in my life.

There is something to be said for "Afters", but what was the difference between that and a push? Nothing. Football is great because there is nuance in what the ref decides.

And the ref should decide yellow for that. Unsportsmanlike conduct.

You are being incredibly harsh on him.

You’re talking about the LM not tracking back and having to mark KDB.. well that’s the whole point of peps tactics, to create overloads. Any player who gets double teamed is gonna have it tough to play. And yes, he tore that leicester defense, the defense in 2nd/3rd place, a new butthole.

He gets benched mostly due to rotation and pep having to deal with injuries, it’s not a performance decision. B silva has hit the bench before, most of the players in that XI get rotated constantly. Why are you lying to my face?

That’s not even close to true. Your forwards are the ones who take risks. Mahrez still had double digit goals and assists last season.. despite having a poor season, that speaks volumes about his end product. being ineffecient is not mahrez.. especially when he’s creating those chances himself with his individuality and getting goals, assists, and key passes.

EVERY player struggles against a 5-4-1.. it’s literally meant to be a defensive formation, and no not every team plays that against man city, only a select few smaller PL teams play that, again with your lies acting like every team plays a 5ATB vs pep.

I can count plenty of excellent passes that should’ve been assists that he made yesterday. If you want me to pull up a performance video i can too. Sorry Qatar and the middle east won’t ever have a soccer player on the level of him and Salah

Second time he's started Dier in a game and second time he's off before/at half time.

Dier is so fucking bad. He's such a predictable coach, playing him instead of N'Dombele or Lo Celso. It's insane.
