I guess my point here is that al-Baghdadi's followers consider him and his kids to be martyrs to the cause. Every leader of this organization we've taken out has been considered as such as it serves as a rallying cause to the next generation, perpetuating the terror and thus the war on terror itself. There is no foreseeable end to this. That favors ISIS and Trump poured fuel on that fire.

It's kinda like saying 'why kill Hitler, neo-nazis will still exist'. It's crucial to obliterate the leaders who are the masterminds of their operations.

He's saying that the way Trump reported the death will only incite anger among those extremists who call themselves ISIS fighters. More than if he was given a boring, short description of death. Which is a fair point.

Same reason why it's inappropriate for Trump to share images of violence against reporters. Sure, most trump supporters aren't violent in the slightest. However, some crazy individuals might see that as a call to arms

Well that's the thing though....many ISIS fighters, especially the ones committing terror attacks on soft targets here and in Europe, are indeed calm, cool and collected. Being radicalized does not mean they're all raging, loud and belligerent. I believe that to be a stereotype perpetuated by the media through TV shows and movies.

Following the logic at play that somehow these guys can't possibly be quiet, calm individuals, the 9/11 hijackers would've been caught rather quickly and the whole attack averted. I truly wish they were the way those of you on the right-wing of this topic seem to characterize them. They become far easier targets for our military to take out.

My point is people willing to sacrifice their lives to carry out attacks in the west don't need a trigger or an incentive to do so. It's their ultimate end game anyway, regardless of who says or does what.

Eleven children were escorted out of Baghdadi's compound. The forces didnt just kill everybody in sight.
