WHICH TWO TEAMS WILL PROGRESS ?
Re: Champions League 2019/20 | Group F
tbh dortmund should have also took their chances, they took too long to score that second goal... red card didn't do them favor either...
but barca did inter big favor by literally playing B team...

All that money to still end up in Europa. Lost to a B side Barca too. Shameful.

Had Inter won their opening game against Slavia, they wouldn't be in this position today.
There is no excuses for having their starting midfielders injured. They failed to beat the worst team in the group at home which ultimately has what cost them the qualification.
That's a myth.
Slavia have tied also at Camp Nou but it's not the point.
I see Arq insists on this too , but Inter haven't lost qualification because of Slavia for me
If Inter had won against Slavia, Barcelona 'd have played with starters at San Siro ( not even sure about 1st place )
Inter have lost / bottled qualification at Dortmund, because of that 3-2 when they were winning for 0-2 at fist half .
It was enough the tie to get qualification .
Moreover just 2 matchdays were missing after it, so really decisive. Definitely clear.
Slavia was just the opening match and I think it can happen to tie a match in CL. There are not easy match. I mean Juve also was so close to do it against Lokomotiv at home ... While bottling from 0-2 to 3-2 in a half is unacceptable.
Ah Slavia are quite underrated. Asking to Barca on both matches and even to Dortmund (yesterday a great Burki).
The regret / bottle job etc is definitely Dortmund .
Anyway 3rd was an expected result at the beginning, but of course - such as last year, a hard disappointment is prevailing. Need to focus on league now.
The worst thing is to have playing that cup called Europa League. I'd prefer a direct elimination on it.

About Barca "B" narrative . Yes, they had their B team but even Inter have played with reserves. Andit was because of injuries. And while their reserves are called Vidal etc our players are Vecino ( a mediocre player of half table) , Biraghi ( mediocre even in Fiorentina), Borja Valero ( legit in his prime, but finished now). Literally we 've just 13 good players and the poor depth is one of our main problems. Unfortunately we paid it for the most important match.
Basically our midfielder is composed by Asamoah, Barella, Brozovic, Sensi and Candreva.
Yesterday you had just Brozovic.
Barella and Sensi were our best players this year and we 've lost together. Candreva was important this year and he got injured exactly in Friday ( and if I think about that chance got by D'Ambrosio)
Surely we had the max of motivations, while Barcellona doesn't care much , and that's what hurts, but if quality is low ...
I repeat my (convinced) opinion : We are knocked out because of Dortmund, not for yesterday. Yesterday we 've just tried to survive to a noose already prepared.
Despite this, we have missed easy chance, especially that got by Lukaku.. Hard to sleep if I think about it
Amazing match by Lautaro again, and again against Barca, frankly I think it will be hard he stays here for much longer, I feel he's the typical Argentinian young player who dreams to play with Messi.

Re: Champions League 2019/20 | Group F
That reasoning would have been really understandable but Barca playing some dude named Wague as a right winger and constant disappointment Firpo as a left winger with Rakitic as a holding mid made it null and void. Plus some dude named Todibo in defense. Needless to say, a 17 year old scored a winner against Inter in their own backyard.
No, Inter choked and that whole reserves were used ain't cutting it. That being said, you're a fan so it's cool. If Conte had said that, well, he would have been properly called out for it.

True, 4 starters (Todibo, Wague, Alena, Perez) didnt even play 90 minutes in La Liga. Firpo played like 3 games max and he's been dreadful, definitely a missed transfer. Griezmann hasn't adapted yet etc.

Todibo looks great though
but as I said
NO EXCUSES for Inter
I expected them to go through in the group against what is ultimately a strangely poor, if talented, BVB side, and you can only call it that they bottled it.
