WHICH TWO TEAMS WILL PROGRESS ?
Re: Champions League 2019/20 | Group E
I'm sorry, is it Håland or Haaland? I thought "å" is pronounced "aw". But maybe in Norwegian it's a little different.

It's pronounced similar to the place "Holland" but with a longer first vowel sound

yes close to that. The problem with phonetic spelling for me is that we all come from different languages so it's hard to know that you mean the same sound as I. But yes, close enough.

The H isn't silent. Like I said, pronounce Holland but stretch the O sound.
In Norwegian if there is a double consonant (like "ll") then the vowel before it is short. So if the kid's name was Hålland then you would just pronounce it like Holland. But since its a single consonant ("l") then the vowel before it gets longer.

Expecting the hype Thimmy will fuel for Håland to make his Ødegaard hype look silent.
And rightfully so though both of them deserve all of it coming their way regardless.

Re: Champions League 2019/20 | Group E
FT Genk 1-4 Liverpool
Salzburg 2-3 Napoli
Clearly Salzburg will make it difficult for everyone involved. The next game will be crucial. Salzburg scoring 3 against an all over the place LFC and 2 against a proper Ancelotti side. This group is not over. Next Match week if LFC can get a result against Salzburg then yes.

Rincon summed it up quite perfectly. And the name is Håland. I assumed it was Haaland, which is pronounced exactly the same way in Norwegian.

I’m not familiar enough with Haaland to warrant having any strong opinions about him or his capability. For our national team, he’s looked like our greatest goal threat, by far, but I haven’t seen him play often enough for Salzburg to confidently back up his talent.
Ødegaard’s different. He’s from Drammen. I don’t watch my local team play often, but I watched him enough to be convinced of his natural talent, already at the young age of 14. There seems to be a lot of focus on his dribbling and ball control in the media, but it’s his football intelligence and passing ability that has always made him stand out from the rest. I’ve always thought that someone with such an exceptional ability to pick out a pass, can’t possibly fail at any level of this sport. Then again, I suppose you can never rule out the possibility that a young talent turns out to be mentally bottlenecked. luckily, that doesn’t seem to be the case with him, thus far.

Re: Champions League 2019/20 | Group E
Agreed with all you have said above, Thimmy as my exposure to Ødegaard truly began last season and he does indeed have it all but we know that does not always translate to what one expects of such a talent yet the signs are good so far in what has been a Top 5 player in Liga overall, so far this season.
