Sociedad's defense is quite mediocre, but that was a good solo run by Ocampos. Completely left that defender for dead. Ødegaard's been uncharacteristically poor in possession in this half.

3-1 Sevilla. Sociedad are struggling in possession and in making the most of their opportunities.

I think Nicolas Pepe is better, and younger, has a less punchable face, isn't overweight and costed 80mln. I don't know why Madrid were hell bent on buying that thicc bum. If they're going for Pogba as well, I feel sorry for my Madridista friends.

Funnily enough an overwhelming majority of people I hang out with are Madridistas or at least prefer Madrid to Barca. A couple Madrid fans on the forum are nice people too I feel like we would be friends in a non-online setting. You are older than my dad but I think we could hit it off too.

A lot of the hazard hate is more about him being unfit and outta shape since preseason, which is understandable, and he was easily worst player of the game.

from the games he has played so far he is falling into the same trap, of trying to replace cr by doing what cr does, play like shit and score a lucky goals every game, the problem is since cr left too many players are trying score for themselves, instead of trying to service one player 90 mins throughout the season.

vini and asensio both failed miserable and now hazard is adding to that, funny enough the winger in the team that actually tries to be winger is bale and everyone treat him like shit, cause he is not dribbler, but who gives a damn how good you are at dribbling, if your just a selfish prick playing for yourself?

Still baffled as to where any of the hype even remotely came for Vinicius outside of the fact that he was a Real Madrid bought starlet for an absurd sum, and some tricks under his sleeve. Not even worth speaking of.

Hazard is merely adapting after for years being in the Premier League and in Chelsea, rotating systems and mostly being the main man for the London club. He will settle in once his fitness and rhythm is back into play after an indulgent summer. Way too much dislike on Eden within this forum.

Issue with Hazard Arqi is that he's a ball stopper... at Chelsea and Belgium, they give him the ball and he's expected to dribble and create chances. Neither has a CF worthy of any note and who are poachers.

At Madrid, he has quality players all around him and a very good CF who isn't a poacher at all. So he needs to move the ball faster and also needs to make runs himself without the ball.

He's part of an offensive structure with talented players. This isn't street ball anymore... which is what he became accustomed to.

If the CF you mention is Benzema then I whole-heartedly agree as his renaissance is amongst the most interesting ones I've seen for a CF past 30 in a long while, since Sheva himself.

Benzema creates for others but with conditions. With Cristiano it was hard since he was such a direct arrow into the box thus left little for a languid artist like Benz to work the ball with since too many coaches have mistaken his height, strength and occasional direct runs for being a Higuain, who in himself has turned out to be very creative.

With Hazard on paper they should work well together but where that fails is Hazard draws too much attention to his left life and holds the ball to spaces Benzema cannot work with in transitioning it down to the middle of the box if not 20 yards.

There is no reason for such a talented player to flop as a whole for Madrid and it will come out and typically he does begin the season slow.
