Amiri, Bellarabi, Bailey all off
Florian Wirtz is on, 17 year old, definitively one attacking talent to watch.

Diaby unbelievably selfish again
ruined three very good chances with abysmal decision making and taking stupid shots from bad angles instead of playing across
if I were Bosz I'd bench him for that
unacceptable

Re: The Bundesliga Thread 19/20
I didn’t realize Skjelbred was still at Hertha. I remember him being praised as a young prodigy many years ago, but he broke his leg horribly when it looked like he was about to take a step up. I’ve hardly heard about him since then. Seems like the incident effectively ended his sporting ambitions.

Have to say that I don't have a particular opinion or impression of him. I avoid watching Hertha when I can.
I read he's returning to Rosenborg for next season though.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread 19/20
Yeah, I don’t have a particular impression of him either. He’s been mostly mediocre for our national team, and I really don’t know why he’s still there when we have, from what I can tell, younger and more proven performers that could directly replace him. I do remember him looking really promising at a young age, but he never lived up to that promise, so god knows how he’s managed to hold down his starting spot in our NT’s midfield. He must have amazing leadership qualities.

I mean he averages 25 Bundesliga games over the last 8 seasons, under various coaches, so I have to assume he is a reliable and decent performer

Re: The Bundesliga Thread 19/20
So Hoffenheim captain Hübner was sent off yesterday after 9 minutes against Düsseldorf, after it looked like he hit Düsseldorf's Ayhan in the face during a Hoffenheim corner.
He was immediately sent off with a straight red and VAR reviewed the decision too and upheld it.
Hübner has come out publicly angry since, claiming that Ayhan actually used his arm to hit himself in the face: "What Ayhan is doing there, is a huge disgrace. It takes away my joy of football."
and well, he might have a point
here's the incident

Re: The Bundesliga Thread 19/20
Judging by how often VAR overlooks potentially decisive fouls in the top 4 leagues, it makes me wonder if the refs who sit behind the monitors are either too slow/incompetent, or on-field refs are just reluctant to rely on it.

Werder got the Haumburgite officially
The year of relegation is coming as happened to their main rivals two years ago
It's historic event this one too : atm Werder is the German club with the most number of partecipations in Bundesliga ( first relegation in 1980, such as AC Milan . )

Dortmund’s attack reminds me of Arsenal in 2010-12 or so. The same one-twos over and over and over again. Try something else for fucks sake.

How’d it go? I’m gonna check the match summary. Been busy all day, so I missed the match.

Your boy Haaland scored a last second winner with a beautiful header

Re: The Bundesliga Thread 19/20
I see Haaland scored in injury time. How did the match play out? And yes, Dortmund’s build up of attacks is frustrating to watch when they aren’t dominating. Julian Brandt shows flashes of brilliance every once in a while, but they have no consistent playmaker who can thread passes behind the defence on a reliable basis.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread 19/20
FC Bayern: Neuer - Alaba, Hernández, Boateng, Pavard - Goretzka, Kimmich - Perisic, Cuisance, Gnabry - Zirkzee
Bank: Ulreich, Odriozola, Martinez, Davies, Singh, Coman, Batista-Meier, Wriedt, Musiala
Gladbach: Sommer - Lainer, Ginter, Elvedi, Bensebaini - Kramer, Hofmann, Neuhaus - Herrmann, Stindl, Thuram
Bank: Sippel, Doucouré, Traoré, Wendt, Bénes, Jantschke, Müsel, Quizera, Embolo
Both Müller and Lewandowski suspended today after getting ridiculous yellow cards last week. Zirkzee gets the chance.
Also might be the first start for Cuisance. First start in a noteworthy game for sure.

1-0 Gladbach
Phonzie on the bench for the first time in months
Flick overdoing it, without Müller and Lewa we'd need our strongest players ffs
edit offside

Re: The Bundesliga Thread 19/20
poor Hernandez, joining Bayern just when Phonzie turns out to be the world's best left back
(contrary to the lineup above, Alaba remains at LCB while Hernandez is left back)
Hernandez with a horrible miss
and it looks like he injured himself again lol
