Coming to Maguire, he would have been a decent acquisition for a max 50 mil but for this kind of money, his every mistake will become big headline. Hope the guy has big balls to weather the storm he's going to face.

Desperately looking for positives now, he brings leadership to our backline more than anything, something we have lacked since the times of Vidic and Ferdinand. Plus he is better than Lindelof in ball playing and better than Smalling in aerial prowess. He will be an upgrade, that's for sure, but certainly not an 80 mil upgrade, and that's the problem.
