I mean, their last trophy was in 2012. Even Athletic Bilbao won something between then and now. Unfair comparison imo.

Chelsea are intending to serve our ban over the next two windows, according to reports.

If this is the case, Arsenal, Spurs, and Utd need to capitalise if they want CL football again. It is a golden chance for each club to improve as we will surely go backwards without Hazard.

Are you able to use your loan players? the 20-30 of them?

You are still in a good position if you can use them tbh.

Yes we can use our loan players. Pulisic, Abraham, Zouma, James and probably Mount will be joining up with the team.

Apparently we can sign Kovacic too, so he'll join us too.

BUT we're losing Hazard and CHO and RLC are injured long term. Giroud will also be our starting CF Laughing

We need a big season from Pulisic if we want anything next year.

SISSOKO WEIGHS IN ON POCH FUTURE

Moussa Sissoko has plunged Mauricio Pochettino’s future as Tottenham boss into further doubt, according to French outlet Canal+.

Speaking on Sunday, the midfielder said: "At the end of the season, it could be that they have a new project, that a new coach comes, and he doesn’t count on me, he wants to sell me."

Mount is a very good player from what I seen watching Wilson for Derby. If he gets a chance, I see him being a real quality player. I think he's already better than Kovacic/Barkley.

Mount has great potential, but I wonder if he needs another loan first or not.

some new rules coming for next season.

drop-ball situation with the opposing team to restart play. From now on, the referee will simply allow play to restart by dropping the ball with the team who were in possession, saving the need to build from the back again, allowing the defending team to get back into shape.

All subbed players must now leave the pitch at the nearest point on the touchline, meaning a long walk around the turf if a forward forgets and suddenly finds himself on the far wing as his number is shown on the board.

yellow and red cards to coaching staff, just as with players, to deal with confrontational behaviour.

For goalkeepers, they must now follow two new directives when facing penalties: no moving or touching the goal posts—some try to intimidate the taker by bouncing the crossbar up and down—and at least part of one foot must remain on the goal line when the kick is taken.

any handball by an attacker in the build-up to a goal will see the strike ruled out.

This is the case whether the handling is seen as deliberate or accidental, in a bid to rule out controversial goals, and also applies to if the attacker creates an advantage with an accidental handball before getting a shot away.

no attacking players will be permitted in the wall at free-kicks and must be at least one meter away from the wall.

So no more barging back into the last defender in the line to create a bit of room for the shot!

Thoughts on this?

Hate the GK one for sure.

Handball for attackers? if defenders keep getting the benefit of the doubt so should attackers.

Yellow red to coaching staff? Hell yeah.

These rules seems really conservative imo

Terrible rule. It's all about the mind games, no need to change it in favour of attackers.

Hasn't this been the case already? You cannot leave the line before the ball is kicked. I wonder if this means they're going to be stricter about this.

Wow thats some loads of new rules there. Do they do this every year or only every now and then?

The no attackers in FK walls, and the offensive handball even if accidental are big changes. The GK rules are getting insane, makes me think of the times b4 any of these new rules came in. GKs back then were allowed to do basically ANYTHING, do the chicken, hop around side and forward also, I seen them take like two three strides forward to limit the angle before leaping forward lol, it was crazy, and definitely much more difficult for the shooter. Nowadays its getting much harder to save them. But its amazing we still see so many saved.

Handball if accidental is stupid

I don't think you should be punished for something that's accidental. That's the whole point of not punishing defenders for an accidental handling

I understand the frustration with the grey zone, but I'd rather some missed calls based on judgement than seeing a team get screwed over by an accidental handling call (either offensive player or defensive player)

But I'll tell ya - you can tell City now if they're watching it - we're still fighting for this oil money, and Pep's got to go to Sheikh Mansour and get something, and... and I tell you honestly, I will love it if we beat them, love it!
