It's going to annoy the fuck out of me if the Lakers get Kawhi tbh, they've been run terribly for years and somehow are going to manage to fall backwards into 3 superstars because "LA " lol.

At least with Brooklyn they've built an infrastructure etc their hard work has earnt signing Kyrie and KD, Lakers haven't earnt shit and still going to get it all the same.

As a Pelicans fan you shouldn’t be talking tbh. Your franchise has never in their whole existence made a correct move lol.

We’ve been averagely run since Jim Buss was fired. How fast we turned the franchise around after Deng and Mozgov contracts has been solid work.

I don't even know the cap situation but the owners seem that they clearly don't want to dip hard into the luxury. I'm pissed. Brogdon was great for us.

If we re-sign Hill and flip these picks for another player who can contribute, this move can be salvaged. And to be fair to the owners, 4/$85 for Brogdon is a lot.

But the Bucks are in win-now mode. Especially since KD/Kyrie going to the Nets might be closing the window. I'm not sure we win a title if we don't next year, so losing Brogdon for picks (which do nothing to help us right now) really hurts.

I'd rather be in cap hell and have given it a real go than to make a couple more sensible moves money wise and look back and think of what could have been. The Bucks aren't going to have another opportunity like this for decades potentially. We go back to being a shit small market team if Giannis leaves

Completely in support of the Middleton move, btw. I like that we at least got a bit of a discount but I think Bucks could have pushed that down a little more and still gotten a yes from Khris. At the end of the day though, you're talking an extra $6-8M from a $170ish million contract. It's whatever.

Middleton is getting paid absolutely mad money and he's nowhere near worth that much. But what option did the Bucks have? Lose Brogdon and Khris, and try to get an FA that no one could guarantee would come? Tobias Harris who just signed for even more than Middleton?

There wasn't really a realistic option for Bucks except for weakening the squad by letting Khris walk, and like I said, it's win now. We need to give it all we've got.

Besides, some are worried about the way Khris's game will age. Dude is balling despite him already being not that athletic. He's got that old man game that should translate well for years to come.

any team with remaining cap space right now are gonna get some bargains. My god. All cap space has basically been spent from every team except Lakers, Sixers, Clippers and Knicks

We can get back around 28-30m if we trade Etwaun Moore which i suspect will happen.

He's not really needed now with Josh Hart, JJ Redick and the kid we drafted.

Think i read right now though only Knicks, both LA teams and Dallas has over 20m in space though.
