I'll say a strong thing but this was even the difference between Nesta and Cannavaro. Nesta was the leader, regista of the defence, Cannavaro was a great defender surely but not the leader of the defensive system . Thuram made it for him at Parma and Juve

At Juve we have other leaders, i'd rather be lead by Chiellini or even Leo, what matters the most is the level of play. De Ligt born in 1999 is already a trustable defender.

Frenkie is key player for Barca tbh, team completely fell apart without him in last2 games

De Ligt was mostly solid this season, you can make anybody look bad with a diagram of his worse whoscored ranks. Just not the generational defender that was promised but then he's still very young and at Juve he is not the defensive leader like at Ajax.
