Finished Returnal. Sweatiest SP game i’ve ever played. I found it harder than Soulsborne games.

I’ll return for more cycles when they implement a checkpoint system. 2-3hr runs with no save system is brutal.

I managed to find some bundles in stock but there was no way i was spending 600+ on it. There was a bundle that had spiderman, ratchet n pleb, 2 t shirts, extra controller and a remote for £780. I mean i rather buy it off ebay for £600

Stock is coming quite frequently now. Best way is to follow a page like get alert on twitter.

already exhausted after a week and feeling like throwing in the damn towel ffs

Amazon are trying to battle the scalpers by making them only appear for sale in Amazon Prime accounts, apparently Amazon's restock this week lasted like 10 minutes...Just gotta get lucky.

I almost pulled the trigger on an Amazon Warehouse PS5 for £525 that was up for about 5 minutes but paying over RRP rubs me the wrong way.

Just got it.

Won't play a PS5 game for two more years (are there any good original game released for it other than R&C yet [Returnal looks cool but I am not personally interested]).

Still two years of PS4 games to catch up with, but now I am playing them with better loading times (and without the PS4 trying to fly out of the window).

Guess I am finally going to play "God of War: The Shoehorning of Kratos" in the coming weeks.

may end up buying a gaming laptop then and just saying fuck the PS5 until 2023, given all of the exclusives seem to be headed to PS4, or most of them

Gaming laptops are useless and overpriced. just build your own PC, nothing more satisfying than picking up PC parts on your own and assembling them.

Gaming laptops used to be a bit of a gimmick but have you played on a recent gaming laptop? I played on one 2-3 weeks ago and I was amazed. Very noisy but was getting consistently decent FPS on high settings on Valhalla.

If you want mobility & small form: gaming laptop
If you don't need mobility and small form: ATX gaming PC
If you don't need mobility but you don't have space for a big desktop: Small form factor PC

I added one to cart. The disk version with Ratchet & Clank. Then I thought to myself do I really need this console. Then I thought I should buy it anyway and if I don't want it I can always sell it for a profit. But I hate scalpers so much I ended up not buying it.

I'm sure I'll pick one up in a couple of years, but my PC rig plays everything now and there aren't enough PS5 exclusives to justify me spending all that money yet.
