Wouldn't be surprised if we play more on the counter-attack tonight. That Napoli team has so much more technical ability than ours it's laughable.

Goes without saying we need a clean sheet. I'd take a 0-0 if it meant preventing Napoli from having an away goal.

That was a pleasing night's work. Ramsey's miss at the end was a bummer, and we did give a couple of big chances, but in the end 2-0 is a good scoreline to take into the 2nd leg. If we can't defend that we have no business winning this competition.

Escaping with a clean sheet was the most important thing. Means the second leg can be as mental as it wants and we'll still have a good chance of progressing.

I'm surprised we're starting with two up front but between them and Ramsey, we're obviously trying for an away goal. The opening 20 minutes when Napoli will likely go all out against us would be a good time to get it.

Counter attacking team from us. Also means Emery expects us to soak pressure.

I'm not sure if we've been great or if Napoli have just been really poor, but I don't care. That half went just about perfectly and should make the rest of this easier.

Coming out of this with a win on the night should do wonders for our belief away from home, too. Really want us to hang on to that clean sheet.

This Napoli doesnt have power and pace to really threaten us. Our CB has been quite comfortable dealing with mostly poor crosses.

This game was weird, such nonchalant performance from home team. At no point I was at the edge of my seat like Watford game, even when Napoli had like 70 % possession. We did well to contain all their threat and whenever the ball got through, it ended up with some awkward finishing. Onward to Valencia who I believe is tougher opponent.

Thought AMN was great tonight. Auba looks so off form which is concerning a bit.

Ramsey's injury is a serious blow.
