Good to see they are active early! If all can be signed before August with this being a non international competition year will make for good training camp with revamped squad.
Normally I haven’t liked the operation exits until after the new signings as it can lead to training camp issues plus decreased sale values, in this case, it is probably the best approach. And if my list is correct, I think the only difficult signing might be Eriksen!

Have you watched him at Chelsea lately, serious question? If you are having issues with Marcelo, Alonso is gonna double that minus Marcelo's undeniable skill on the ball.

Yeah Marcos Alonso would be a huge downgrade, there’s a reason Chelsea want to be rid of him.

Marcos Alonso is a terrible scrub, lol why in God's earth would be sign that failure of a fullback? He is a wing back and only performs in a 3 man backline.

Seems most here feel Marcelo is finished and should be replaced. Reguilon has been a good news story and although he is ok as a backup, we really need a more complete / experienced replacement to start instead of Marcelo. We have Theo, but I believe Reguilon is better and likely to be sold or loaned out again. So who might be suitable and available or reachable as the starter LB?
And no Doc, I haven’t watched Alonso, only his couple of games with NT.
Btw, the rest of my original post was serious re targets and getting the acquisitions done early!
A couple of rumors going around today. Zidane is thinking of Courtois , Lunin for next season (that one if true will really end Hala’s love for Zidane). I’m skeptical on this one as Zidane definitely seems to lean to Navas and Lunin has been a disappointment thus far.
The other one is Madrid may try for Pogba, but know it will be difficult ( lol although Sports would love that, we have in the past heard same thing re Mbappe and Neymar and apparently Pogba has already put in a request for a weekly wage of 500!!)

Man U would sell Pogba for the right price imo... his contract runs until 2022. So this year and the next are the windows where his worth is the highest. If they want to cash out, this is the time to do it.

Defensively, that's such a disaster. You're defending with 6 players basically and that includes Kroos and Marcelo. Not to mention that you're asking Ramos to play perfect positional CB without making stupid attacking runs or kamikaze tackles.

And we can all assume the CF is Benzema and he is not a reliable goal scorer. Like at all. But in theory. It can work in theory but you're asking for basically perfect games from everyone in every mid to high level match.
