History of men named Hummels I assume or is this another "9 months ago, you were the best team in the world" type of comment?Hummels at his best is like a top 5 CB in history

I'm serious. In his very best games, Hummels is absolutely out of this world. Beckenbauer-esque.
Problem is, he was consistent for about 1-2 seasons, and since then his best games have been few and between like 2 ok and 1 terrible game.
Boateng was a world class performer much longer and much more consistently, but he was never quite as complete as Hummels at his best, mainly because Boateng never was really good at heading and aerial duels.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours and News 2019
Breaking news: NASA has summoned its finest scientists and programmers and assigned them the backbreaking task of solving the meticulously chosen code name 'Operation Pogba'.
Meanwhile, the US government is trying its utmost to contain the public outrage of taxpayers who believe their hard-earned money should be spent on "solvable" things rather than codes that can't possibly be broken, even by history's brightest minds.
Nobel laureate Kip Throne stated that "If NASA can successfully break the code 'Operation Pogba', it'll be a landmark moment in the history of science and mankind, up there with achievements like discovering the Higgs boson and building the event horizon telescope".
NASA hasn't released any further news and has been tightlipped about the whole operation. However, we can confidently confirm that the decryption is underway as shown by this never-before-seen photo taken by our most trusted journalist Massimo Di Culo from the heart of NASA HQ:

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours and News 2019
Liverpool have joined the race to sign Ajax's wing sensation David Neres this summer.
Neres, who scored in the draw against Juventus on Wednesday night, has been instrumental in Ajax's European and domestic success this term and has caught the eye of many of the continent's top clubs.
Mercato report that Jurgen Klopp's side are now showing interest and could be tempted into making a move for the player this summer.

Means nothing. I cant imagine that the coach of Ajax would speculate in the media about his captain joining their CL opponents 4 days before the big match against them.

Why would they need him tho? Pique looks quality even now. Umtiti is world class and Lenglet too I reckon is a useful option. Umtiti's Injury record might be a valid enough reason, but I am not buying the reports that they are going to offload him cos of that. And no way De Ligt is going to move if he is not promised first team football. If he wanted to go to Barca, he would have gone with De Jong.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours and News 2019
Despite de Ligt's glowing praise and admiration of Bonucci, Chiellini and Juventus as a whole; it will not take a closer eye to see that the Dutchman is basically destined for Barca.
I do not see Jjuventus splashing out the colossal amount of cash needed to buy out a player who is and will be heavily sought after by possibly all elite clubs in Europe let alone Barcelona losing out to them. Why?
-The old Ajax-Barcelona connection for one.
-de Jong already a confirmed signing for them therefore further incentive to follow him to Nou Camp
-A preferably attacking CB by nature who will surely be tempted by the decade long possession based Barcelona spell (despite barely resembling it now).
-Barcelona having more cash
-Youngsters nowadays have watched Premiership sides and La Liga sides as only hipsters, exceptions and South Americans per say are still invested within Serie A and such is what the Gen Z youngsters are usually speaking of.
Once again it would be foolish of Juventus not to go for him to replace their now aging guard and given his already impressive leadership and I do not see it happening. Shame as he would be a better fit in Juventus in my opinion and with Valverde's increasing chances to leave; but this is my bet for him.

He's correct on both statements tbh, except that Barcelona WILL move Umtiti on if they can convince de Ligt because while Umtiti is very good, de Ligt is better and a generational talent.

It would be foolish of them yes, but they aren't the ones in control of this situation.
They can try all they want but if he wants go somewhere else (Barcelona or anyway really) there's not much they can do.
It's not like players have no choice where they go, if they didn't then you'd be right but that's not the reality we are in.

Bild: Bayern interested in signing Zaniolo
Bayern are about to get bamboozled by Roma, the lad is painfully average
Talking about Buyern, the new European flavor Joao Felix is like an advanced version of Muller, with ball skills.

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours and News 2019
It's well known that everyone is clearly wrong.
Thibuuuu big let down in Madrid this year, he spent more time sorting out his sex life that saving shots for us. If he gets shitcanned by Zidane this summer I will not care.
Zaniolo is overrated though

Re: The Official Summer Transfer Rumours and News 2019
Saw an article that link Juventus and the winger Julian Brandt... release clause of 25 millions Could be our man if Douglas/Dybala comes to leave
At Leverkusen since five years... 207 games 39 goals... he's also german international. It's a lot of experience for a 23 year old.
Judging from Youtube he seems to have a similar game to Chiesa who many Juve fans rate.

It pains me to say this because they will join barca but if De Ligt and Frenkie are A class talents, in comparison, Zaniolo is a C- lad, should not even be spoken of in the same breath
