Re: Espanyol v Real Madrid
You know, for a 2 goal cushion, I was actually quite nervous coming down to the end. Not sure how that was possible but it happened.
Lovely game, fine performance from Big Ben. Probably his best so far this season (or for 2 years but who's checking). Hala's cousin Lucas had a blinder of a match, can't call him poo today. Meanwhile, Marcelo comes on and plays a man onside which I appreciate, that goal was delightful.
What else, what else, oh, Modric is getting his groove back. Slowly. Surely.

As for Varane's red, clash of legs but it was a justified decision.

I wasn't that scared actually. They were forced to take pot shots from afar, none of which troubled Courtois. Thankfully Piatti was on Danis wing and not Marcelo or who knows how many we might have conceded. As for the red card, i could hardly see the touch, very very soft. It was a brush if that

I also agree with your line about Casemiro Hala but he does take a while to get back into gear after an injury, we just gotta bare with it. Still rather Llorente but I don't pick the team.

The dwelling on the ball in our own box when Espanyol pinnrd us back though then has the audacity to shrug his shoulders to Carvajal (?). That sort of summed his night up in a nutshell. I agree though, it'll take a few games for him to get the rust off after such an injury

Re: Espanyol v Real Madrid
This is the second game in a row both good Spanish lads ordi and cavaj, are going out of their way not to pass to benzema when he is clear on goal, yet in the same games they passing to the other good Spanish lad Lucas in similar positions, and im sure if it was good Spanish lads isco or asensio was out there instead they would pass all the time like before.
how many times this season benzema is checking and changing his runs for rbs and they screw him over purposefully almost every time? goes direct to goal they cutback the ball, waits for the cutback they go across goal, infront of a empty net go for a bad shot instead, but no hesitation for good Spanish lads it's not a coincidence.
I honestly hope a lot of the good Spanish lads gtfo of the team with their pro spanish clique mentality, cause when the team was playing the Spanish way with the good Spanish lads and Spanish nt coach there was a crisis and a goal drought, caravaj or ordi need to get their shit together cause their flukey goals ain't winning shit their role players, and as good Spanish lad asensio said role players don't take responsibility in crisis cause they don't earn as much jealous little twats, then pass the freaking ball to the ones being paid the big bucks.
You can tell by the decision making(+body language) on the pitch all season and last season, some of these Spanish scrubs really feel their super stars and more deserving cause their overhyped Spanish trash.

Everytime Lurch plays we concede more than 2 goals, it can't be a coincidence. Hope Solari won't ostracize Navas because we can't go out in CL with that scrub Tbu in goal

Re: Espanyol v Real Madrid
He probably has a 0.000002% save percentage. He is rubbish
Anyways let's talk about Marcelo. Wth is going on with him, he's never been the best at defending but he is atrocious this season, not even time on the bench gets him out of it.
Is it the improved LL teams that are exposing him more or has he gotten worse? We all know he's had worse displays in his prime particularly against out and out wingers. Msybe he wants to join Ronaldo at Juve and has sort of given up but we thought Modric had given up too when hr was giving these displays and he's only just now repaying the faith the coaches showed. In a sense Lope was kind of unlucky, he was the coach when basically the whole team underperformed or were injured. They areall juwt now getting it together

Re: Espanyol v Real Madrid
I suspect we'll be saying that all season as our expectations of him drop further and further down
By 2021 we'll be conceding triple digit goals and we'll forgive him because there is nothing he can do both literally and figurativel

Are you referring to Benzema or Courtois? we’re a flimsy bunch, I don’t believe that’s going to change anytime soon.

Re: Espanyol v Real Madrid
I don't care about numbers. we could concede 200 goals a season. i don't blame the gk because of that. i watch the performance, the saves, the mistakes etc... then judge.
the unreasonable hate for some players from some of you is laughable. you hate who you want to hate no matter what. and that's not right.

Re: Espanyol v Real Madrid
courtois could’ve done much better with the first goal... His distribution is horrendous as well. Navas is the better goalkeeper as of now, but he doesn’t play due to politics.
