Hazard, a CM and a CF would revitalise this team to be able to compete in all competitions next season.

Barca score a goal where Umtiti is like 3 yards offside yet VAR instead of ruling it out gives them a PENALTY?

That was really bizarre call, I too first thought they were looking if it's offside. Then after seeing the replay maybe looking Umtiti handball? Then Barca gets penalty... scratch

Prior to this they missed Alaves last man handball which everyone else saw, and two footed studs up tackle on Roberto, both red offences. Either they were drunk, biased or corrupted, can't think any other reason.

This is actually an important question. If there is a handball from the opponent and also an offside issue, which one should be called for?

It depends on if the offside is relevant to the play. In this case it was as the player who handballed it was trying to stop the ball from going to Umtiti (who was offside). So it should have been called as offside. La Liga refs demonstrating their incompetence yet again.

There are just as many terrible games if not far worse within the Premier League if not any league. Countless beautiful games have occurred this year. Barcelona-Villarreal a prime example of pure quality.

Quality of La Liga has been going down for a while now. I voiced my concerns in another thread earlier in the season. All good coaches and semi-decent players have left the league for the riches of EPL.

Top 4 Bundesliga coach Hasenhüttl taking over a PL relegation battling team. Both Pep and Klopp leaving the Bundesliga top 2 for English teams.
