Lazar Markovic has joined Fulham on a permanent transfer, Liverpool can confirm.

The 24-year-old has departed the Reds for Craven Cottage, bringing his four-and-a-half-year spell with the club to an end.

Markovic originally arrived at Anfield from Benfica in July 2014 and has since made 34 appearances for the first team, scoring three goals.

The forward has also spent time on loan at Fenerbahce, Sporting CP, Hull City and Anderlecht.

In a ideal world we sell Can and Khedira, then another quality CM like Sergej/Barella/Tonali who doesn't charge +6m/year. In reality we probably just part ways with Khedira and keep Can, in that case our midfield is complete.

So far what can be expected for Juve next summer is:
Khedira sold
Winger sold
buy Ramsey
buy Zaniolo

Absurd that Rino has been using a completely central player in Çalhanoğlu as a LW.

I understand the need for an inside forward yet he knows not how to cut inside, does not possess the pace and just looks clueless out wide.

Whether we take Nick's opinion on Saint-Maximin with a grain of salt or not, that side seems relatively scarce in options for now.

players like that are always a gamble. His ability to dribble and do crazy stuff with the ball is stunning, if you watch a clip on YouTube you will fap. So it's betting on him becoming a smarter more productive player. Too big of a gamble imo
