Which two teams will progress ?
Re: Champions League 2018/19 | Group C

Probably because all they are is a front 3 and nothing else.
Sports might tell you that Mbappe is a world beater already, but he did jack all against R. Madrid, apart from needlessly skill moving the ball out of bounds, and I’m not overly impressed with his performance so far in this match either. It’s not only their defenders who seem to choke in these matches. Pool aren’t even at full strength ffs.
Inb4 he was starved of service

Yeah but we know he's a good player, can't really say the same about the midfield and defence.

I’m watching the match at a football pub in Kos, Greece atm, and the brits sitting behind me are yelling so loudly that my ears are ringing :p

PSG players just have it too easy in the league. Makes it quite a challenge to turn up for CL matches if you can play at 70% the rest of the time.

Exactly, teams like Bayern and psg have to face different beasts in champions league all of a sudden and they suffer like xavi.

Even if that were the case it's pretty irrelevant tbh, you aren't winning the CL with the midfield and defence they are playing tonight lol.

We suffer so much that we're the best team in the competition and can only be stopped by corrupt refereeing

barnat and marquinhos are frauds. Verratti takes care of Marquinhos... and once they get Kehrer up to snuff a bit, Kimpembe is fine playing LB.
Early season.

Juve have had it so much tougher. And let's not mention that City won the league sooner than anyone else last season.

So we're already slapping the " chocker " tag on Mbappe? I don't want to go full Sports but the kid destroyed City in his first CL knockout game, was decisive in the quarters, scored against Juve in the semis, and was good with PSG in the group stage last year.

TAA is having a field day, lots of space on that right flank with Neymar not tracking back.
Aside from Sturridge's goal, we are really missing Firmino. Hendo and Milner are bossing it so far in the midfield.

Finished product both mentally and physically, was what I meant to write. No one’s doubting his pure talent. I don’t think he’s less of a choker than the rest of his team are, when they do their usual bendover move. But sure, let’s give him a free pass.

Sure but no need for a group stage exit with these players.

He destroyed Dortmund too Farfan... not to mention his WC.
PSG have a massive midfield problem. Not much Cavani and Mbappe can do with the little of the ball they're seeing.

Yeah well he's 19 years old ffs
For his age, his maturity and consistency is absolutely exceptional
Without any doubt whatsoever the next big elite player in world football

Good points thimmy. He looks underdeveloped and his football IQ is obviously lacking.

He also has a really symmetrical face and and a nice, round, cheek. Let’s talk about that. Oh, and the world cup.

No you didn't.

Re: Champions League 2018/19 | Group C
Mbappe had a meh half. No doubt. But he's been great all the time mostly since he became a pro.
I don't think PSG are ready for a game of this intensity. I also don't think that the culture of PSG is really that intense. No edge. France play with an edge and it translates into Mbappe's play there.
I hope he leaves PSG next season. After this season, there isn't much for him to gain by staying.

I’m really not a fan of such sensationalistic, premature, premonitions, but he’s certainly one of the most age-wise mature and gifted players I’ve witnessed in recent time. I definitely disagree with ya’ll that he’s hit his peak of maturity, though. You mentioned him being 19, and that’s exactly my point. Evidently, the norm on here is that he’s hit peak maturity already. Why does everything have to be black and white on this forum? :p

When Sports starts exaggerating for the sake of getting attention, you know you’ve hit a nerve. No offense, but I didn’t pay as much attention to your replies.

Mbappe can’t shoot with his left foot. Holy shit. He’s got a mountain to climb in order to catch up to Goatbele.
