Re: The Juve-Milan-Chelsea transfer tangle
Alright that makes sense, but in order for this to be worth it for Juve then Bonucci would have to be willing to take a pay cut, otherwise Juve doesn't really get anything out of the deal (financially) which seems to be the prime motivator to get Higgy out.

Salary agreement found between Juventus and Bonucci : around €5.5m net. [Romeo Agresti]

He wasn't that bad in 2017, last I checked we made it to the CL final that year with Bonucci as a starter. He played like shit last year because he was at Milan, a team which tends to get the worst out of its players.
He will comeback rejuvenated and will want to win it all with Ronaldo. Barzagli carrying Bonucci? That's funny.
He was never even the 2nd best at Juve, let alone the best in the world. One of the worst 1 on 1 defenders and an awful man marker. One of the first things that Chiellini said after he left was "we are improving in the man marking department", lol.
At least he has the log ball going for him, maybe now Allegri will free Pjanic from the DM prison.

At least 2.5 more than what he's worth.

2m savings don't seem like enough to go through this trouble, especially if Milan are just getting a loan with no obligation to purchase.

I read the option is supposedly for FFP reasons which is why PSG had a loan + option agreement with Monaco for Mbappè.
Pretty sure they're buying him outright. Also shows how desperate we were to get rid of Higuain and that we couldn't find legitimate buyers. Higuain costed Juve €33M a year so they could get his cost off the books now.
I've been against this move from day 1 but it seems we want to go all in for the Champions league. Only reasonable explanation. We struggled to the play the ball out from the back last season so Bonucci helps us in that regard. And like posted above, frees Pjanić up a little bit more so he could play in a more advanced role. I think it's an improvement to our squad overall no doubt about it but it's a shit deal financially especially from a long term perspective.

Bonucci is a CB that improves us. Higuain was gonna be one our 8 great forwards that would see the bench while earning the most, and potentially getting us a high fee.

Higgy was the former record signing that you discarded as soon as you got a new toy
Numptyventus
disgraceful stuff tbh
at least Inter are still firmly wavering the FC honor and grace banner

Can't wait bury you again next season especially now that you're publicly backing Inter.

Di Marzio says there's no buyback for the Caldara deal
Pretty disappointing deal for us. I hope we dont live to rue this. Going in all for the short term(Champions League) is the only reasonable explanation and if we dont succeed, joke's on us.
Congrats Milan fans. Just dont get too cocky like last season though. We all know what followed (:

No, I don't believe they truly were. Higuain seemed to want to stay in Italy and Caldara was the piece to move him from Juve. For Milan, fantastic deal to receive both Higuain and Caldara and clear Bonucci's wages because that move just was not working out

If Sarri could turn Mertens into a WC striker, why not Morata?
