Europa League 2018/19
The insanely and absurdly long qualification process has begun. The 2nd qualifying round gets underway this Thursday, with some cracking ties:
Serie A hipster club Atalanta vs Sarajevo
Hibernian vs Asteras
Osijek vs Stevie G's Rangers
Third Best Scottish Team Aberdeen vs Ginger Mourinho's Overachievers Burnley
Future Tournament Winners Sevilla vs Ujpest
Arsenal, Chelsea, AC Milan, Lazio, Marseille and Bayer Leverkusen are already in the group stages.

Burnley going to reach the finals?
Essentially SPL vs PL midtable here in this match, can imagine the bants in Scotland if Aberdeen knocks Burnley out.

Re: Europa League 2018/19
Burnley last year by far exceeded their realistic point tally (if you look at average expected goals stats), their squad is old AF (now a year older) and they haven't signed a single new player yet.
I wouldn't be surprised if they are in big relegation battle this year...I think ginger Mourinho is gonna throw the match.

Barrow dominating at everything except shooting.
I think he will be second option ahead of Cornelius this season, looks better at everything than him.

Hibs
Sevilla sending out a message with a 3-0 lead over Ujpest. Navas, Ben Yedder and Sarabia with the goals. Roque Mesa dominating the midfield.

Not sure if beating a Hungarian pub team down to 10 men counts as sending a message

Re: Europa League 2018/19
Atalanta were cruising in the first leg 2-0 up, their lack of seriousness caught up them and conceded 2 quick goals.
Proper response winning 8-0 away

Re: Europa League 2018/19
Sevilla strolled to a 3-1 win against Ujpest. Will now play Vaduz in the next round, which will probably be another huge win.
Burnley needed ET to get past Aberdeen, but they're going through, too.

Saw Feyenoord were smashed 4-0 by some Slovakian team. EL

i thought Burnley was part of the GOAT league, full of proper Brexit lads on top of that. Disappointing to not destroy Erdogan's official club.

Re: Europa League 2018/19
Remember when people were saying Spalleti or AVB winning titles with Zenit was no achievement and anyone could do it ??
Since then, they haven't even qualified to CL ... and are pretty much our of EL already having been trashed 4-0 by neighbours Dynamo Minsk of Belarus yesterday.
Hulk and Witsel
