Nah it looks like a film where they have massively changed the character to make it 'fun' by adding corny jokes while inducing a generic story.

Shazam gets powers -> Shazam takes it lightly -> shazam meets evil but loses -> "i must get stronger and better" -> shazam wins

Still looks better than Aquaman and Justice League though.

How did they change the character? It's the most fun character in DC's catalogue. It's not because he's serious he's called "The Big Red Cheese". Everything I've read and seen about Shazam makes this seem believable.

If anything it looks more like Big, Superman and some elements from Chronicle. It looks as unique as a superhero movie can be nowadays.

I never bother for premiere/early tickets, most obnoxious and loud people always go for those showings.
I'll just avoid the Twitter and Instagram like the plague and then go a few days or a week after.

UK cinemas are usually peaceful. The only real hype i witnessed was during TDKR when it felt like the cinema was cheering bruce out of the pit ffs

The most annoying experience was during deadpool 2 when some fanboys were clapping at every joke.

They were in the middle of the fourth row.

Its an honour to see Joaquin Phoenix in this role really. Proud

Never mind the actual film (which I suppose too will be great), at least his casting alone should fetch the film a lot of interest when it releases.

Funny thing is I was of the opinion that there shouldnt be a Joker movie. I thought some characters should never be explained with back stories and stuff. But now.. lol.
Anyway kudos to DC for staying true to the material and not trying to squeeze in stupid jokes.

That looks excellent. Agree with Glory though, there shouldn't be a Joker movie that dispels the mystery.

It's not canon. So it's technically not the joker. It's fan fiction/Elseworlds.

That way I don't have a problem with it. It's so far off and doesn't conflict with established mythology that way.

I love the concept of these one-off Elseworlds stories. That way you can get actors on CBM projects, who don't want to do multiple movies as the character.

It's not like in Tim Burton's Batman where they made Joe Chill into the Joker basically and made him the one who killed the parents.

I have no idea. I don't know if there's a difference with vaping than normal smoke.

Worst crowds I've ever experienced have been in Creed, Creed 2, Black Panther and Star Trek Beyond. I don't know why people pay so much money and not pay attention.
