Re: Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
nice, how many attempts? I think it pissed me off because I was too aggressive in phase 2, when I became passive it still pissed me off because it took ages to whittle down
do me a favour though, go to the poison pool where you fight snake eyes and explore a little

Maybe 8 or 9 lol. I had to farm for oil to burn him in the 1st phase asap. I was same as you because he really baits you into being aggressive since he can't block. But that punishes you
Phase 2 was surprisingly over really fast since i perfectly deflected every single attack.
Can't stand that poison pool ffs but sure

Re: Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
oh nice, I could never get the timing on the deflects myself so I had to basically wait until it finished a combo or the slide slash and rush in and attack it once for about 20 mins lol
I haven't played in a few days you're probably only about 4 bosses behind me

Re: Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
was sick over the weekend and I have nothing but insane bosses left, saw footage of the final boss, not sure if I'm gonna beat it, looks harder than anything theyve done

funnily enough the first fight took me 15 attempts but I beat this one in 3
Feels like it has a lot less HP

I don't think it will take me long. Could have beaten it first try if i wasn't rushing back for the 2nd half. normal ape looks mins smash job. It's just that terror scream i hate.

Re: Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
You are right about the OST thing btw. I mentioned that early on in the threat too. It feels like Myazaki thought he should stick to Japanese folk music for that era.

Re: Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
I didn't even fight the other ape, just focused on the main one, you kill that, the other disappears

I've heard good traditional Japanese music/instruments in anime though and there's just nothing memorable at all here. Maybe in the final boss battle, hopefully. Always liked the epic themes in the other games.

one of those big choices you have coming up, don't want to spoil you but choose the second option.

Re: Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
that boss took me a lot of attempts, he has one attack that I just couldn't help but get caught by constantly, I kinda fought him like a bitch, kiting the arena and going in for hit and run tactics ffs
I haven't played in like 6 days, which is weird, don't have much of a desire to but I'm gonna play again this weekend and try to finish it
