I've been bitching about the loan system for years, it's ridiculous unfair to the competition of the sport that teams will just farm 20+ players and just loan them out and then they not even allowed to play against their parent club nonsense.

It should not be allowed.

I remember it was a thing when Chelsea played Atletico and were demanding that Curtois, who was loaned to Atletico, be ruled out of their match. Atletico told them to *bleep* off and he was ruled to be eligible.

Milan has been in contact with Callejon for a possible move. Reina is also trying to convince the player to make the move. The Spaniard has a release clause of €20m which is also valid in Italy.

Watch out guys

I hope Milan, in signing Reina and Callejon, two of the worse players in Napoli's starting 11 are posturing to sign one of their better players afterwards ffs

According to the latest reports in Germany, Schalke 04 have decided they want to sign Marko Pjaca on a permanent deal from Juventus this summer.

forgot this guy even existed, can Juventus fans PLEASE stop overhyping every freakin' new player they get? had to hear how this guy was a future beast, Rugani was a future GOAT CB (looks like the Italian Ben Mee, he's nothing special) etc

every season ffs, not one of them has become even a good player (Dybala probably the last and he was already established before you signed him)

He tore his ACL man, it's not a joke injury....

He was good for us before that and we decided we could not find minutes for him so loaned him- without an option to buy- so that he can get some minutes and recover fully

I think its actually in the contracts, not sure though.

I've never been delusional enough to hype academy kids. 99/100 they never amount of anything. I also got off the Rashford train pretty early, he hasn't improved enough. Martial the only one you really have and IMO that's more on Mou, I think he will be world class for any other top team.

Meanwhile every season it's like Juventus fans have a stake in the club around here and are using marketing hype to sell on these lads after a season.. Coman, Bentacur, Lemina, Rugani, Pjaca, Bernadeschi is next IMO, I think we need to just stop rating people before they perform if they aren't established. Even though kneejerks are fun.

I NEVER hyped Lemina. It took like 2 games to realize he was poor. Making his loan permanent was shocking.

Bentancur also has pretty much no hype on GL, you are just throwing any young player name now.

Pjaca yes, he looked talented then he lost an entire season and had to leave for game time. Its just unfortunate. Also most people in the Juve section have been writing that he likely has no future with us since last summer. Rugani for the moment looks more like a failure of Max than anything else. He always plays well but Allegri is still always betting on experience at CB when its clear we should stop relying on Barzagli.

Not even gonna address Bernardeschi.

Also, per Juventus having many players out on loan- which is completely true, is also because the Italian youth system only runs until the U-19, afterwards its either first team or loan out. Quite simple :coffee:

Meanwhile Rugani can't start ahead of a Barzagli that's closer to getting his pension than an 8.0 on whoscored @Zigra and Howedes on crutches ffs

Juventus’ Beppe Marotta believes there are two ways for football to leave the loan system behind – reserve teams and the right to buy back players.

Juve will be one of the teams most affected if FIFA decide to abolish the loan system, but Marotta insists it will not disrupt the Bianconeri, as long as Serie A promotes two alternatives.

“Worried? We’ll see, it’s something we’ve known about for 2-3 years and we’ll have to adapt to it,” he told Corriere dello Sport.

“How? With the introduction of reserve teams and the right to buy back players.”
